Agho Noruwa scored 20 points to help Columbia hold off Bryant 76-72 on Saturday.

Columbia led 48-31 with 16:13 to play, but Bryant rallied to take a 68-67 lead on a 3-pointer by Cecil Gresham with 1:01 remaining.

Columbia regained the lead for good on its next possession when Steve Frankoski hit a 3-pointer for a 70-68 lead with 48 seconds left. The Lions made 6 of 8 free throws in the final 25 seconds, including four by Noruwa.

Frankoski added 11 points and Asenso Ampim had 10 for the Lions (6-4), who have won three in a row and five straight at home.

Columbia led 40-27 at halftime and held on despite shooting 36 percent (9 of 25) from the field in the second half.

Alex Francis and Gresham each scored 16 points to lead Bryant (1-8). Frankie Dobbs added 14 points and 10 assists, and Matthew Lee had 11 points for Bryant, which lost its sixth game in a row.
