Wednesday night's game between No. 6 Xavier and St. John's quickly turned from upset alert to slam dunk contest.

Xavier's Jalen Reynolds and Edmond Sumner and St. John's Kassoum Yakwe combined for eight second-half dunks, as the Musketeers swept the season series with the Red Storm with a 90-83 victory. Xavier is the first team in the nation to get to 20 wins this season.

Sumner finished with 10 points, four assists and three steals. Six of Reynolds' nine points came via dunks. His first points of the game came off this posterization of a St. John's defender early in the second half.

Yakwe was one-point shy of matching his career high of 15 points.
