Impact
Endo suffered a heavy knock during the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea and is now in doubt for Saturday's clash. Even if he gets a full return to training during Friday's session that's a quick turnaround for Saturday's clash. Bobby Clark or James McConell could see starting chances if Endo can't go.

Injury deemed a "proper knock"
Endo (ankle) has been confirmed to have suffered an injury, as manager Jurgen Klopp told reporters, "Wataru got a proper knock as well. There we have to see as well. I wouldn't say...
Impact
Endo has yet to undergo further testing on his issues, so his exact injury is still unknown but it appears to only be minor after the manager only labeled it as a knock. This is a huge improvement to want many thought following their match Wednesday, as after leaving on crutches and in a boot, it looked as if he had suffered a long-term injury. He still looks set to most likely miss Wednesday's FA Cup Clash but could possibly make a return against Nottingham on Saturday, but that is only if his tests show a positive result and he can get back on the training pitch prior to the game.

Leaves stadium on crutches
Endo was spotted leaving the stadium on crutches and in a protective boot following Sunday's 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, per James Pearce of The Athletic.
Impact
Endo looks to be heading for some time on the sidelines, appearing to have picked up a somewhat serious injury to his foot. This could be a significant loss for the club, as he has started in the past 10 contests he has been available for. The team is also very limited in midfield options, as they are already without Curtis Jones (ankle), Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring), Thiago Alcantara (strain) and the newly injured Ryan GravenBerch (ankle). Although, a couple of those options do have a chance of returning soon. Liverpool will now hope Endo's tests only show a minor issue, looking for a short absence from play, with his replacement still up in the air if he does miss any time, as the club will have to wait to see who is healthy for the weekend, or they may require a formation change with no other options in the midfield.

Back with club
Endo (Asian Cup) is back with Liverpool ahead of Saturday's matchup with Burnley.
Impact
Endo started all five matches for Japan in which he went the full 90 minutes each time and scoring once. Prior to his departure, the midfielder had made seven straight starts in which he generated four shots (one on target), four crosses (two accurate) and 13 tackles (eight won). Endo should push for a spot in the starting XI, especially with Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring) currently in doubt.

Headed to Asian Cup
Endo is joining up with Japan for the Asian Cup and will miss most of January.
Impact
Endo is off to the Asian Cup, where Japan are among the tournament favorites. If Japan make a deep run as expected Endo may not be available until early or mid February for club action. Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will need to take a more significant role in the starting XI with Endo away from the team.

First Premier League goal
Endo scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-3 win over Fulham.
Impact
Endo's first Premier League goal couldn't have come at a much more heroic time in the final five minutes of a match Liverpool trailed in. His brilliant finish lifted the Anfield crowd and helped spur an unlikely comeback. Endo might not be an everyday starter moving forward but that heroic goal will keep him in the first team moving forward.

Struggles in loss
Endo played 45 minutes during Thursday's 3-2 loss to Tolouse.
Impact
Endo had a day to forget as Liverpool were soundly beaten and Endo was brought off after just 45 minutes. The midfielder has struggled to take a step up into the first team since joining Liverpool and has yet to establish himself as anything more than a depth option.

Immediate minutes
Endo appeared in all three matches available after completing a transfer to Liverpool.
Impact
Endo got one start and two bench appearances after making the switch to the Premier League with Liverpool. The defensive midfielder is the short-term successor to Fabinho, though against lesser opponents it's possible Liverpool go to a more aggressive midfield with Alexis Mac Allister or Curtis Jones in a more defensive role.

Signs with Liverpool
Endo has completed a transfer to Liverpool from Stuttgart and signed a long-term deal.
Impact
This move was done quickly for Liverpool after things fell apart with Moises Caicedo. Endo doesn't bring the same kind of hype, but he's experienced at the highest level and brings high energy to the pitch as more of a defensive midfielder, starting 33 league matches each of the last three campaigns. While he probably won't see starts immediately, he brings depth to the midfield, which is what was needed going into the season.

Nine goal contributions
Endo made 33 starts for the third consecutive Bundesliga season, scoring five goals and adding four assists in 2022/23.
Impact
Endo has started all but one match in each of his three seasons with the Bundesliga and continues to improve. The midfielder is perhaps the most consistent part of a mixed bag Stuttgart side. His nine goal contributions are a step forward as he set new bests in goals and assists while also creating 46 chances. Endo will maintain a major role in 2023/24 with the chance to build on this significant offensive volume.

Assists in home draw
Endo assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and three chances created in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Hoffenheim.
Impact
Endo assisted Tiago Tomas' equalizer in the 80th minute, but Sttutgart failed to win at home and ended up relegated to Bundesliga 2. The midfielder finished the campaign with five goals and four assists in 34 starts. He also did well on defense with 70 tackles and 60 clearances, but that was good for only two clean sheets over that span.

He also contributed with an assist for Chris Fuhrich to make it 3-1 and now has five goals and three assists over 32 league starts this season. Creates two chances versus Wolfsburg
Endo had one off-target shot, created two chances, sent in one accurate cross and made one tackle and three interceptions during Saturday's 1-0 loss against Wolfsburg.
Impact
Endo had an improved presence on the attacking end compared to what he did on the previous two outings while having another decent performance on the defensive side of the ball. Anyway, the midfielder is still coming up short offensively based on what we've already seen during this season so fantasy owners can expect even more from him after the international break.
