GAME LOG

Playing in Gold Cup Spicer has been called up by Trinidad & Tobago for the Gold Cup and is not an option for Toronto for the time being, according to mlssoccer.com.
Impact Spicer is off to serve with his national team with multiple other MLS players for the Gold Cup, leading him away from the team. He will miss around at least two weeks due to the competition, possibly missing further time depending on which stage they advance to. He has started in three of their past four outings, so this will cause a change, with Theo Corbeanu or Derrick Etienne as possible replacements.
JUNE 10 • ROTOWIRE
Fit for bench Spicer (lower body) is on the bench for Saturday's match against Minnesota.
Impact Spicer has returned to play this week, finding a spot on the bench after time out with a lower body injury. He has started in two of his four appearances this season and will hope to see some time to test his legs, likely remaining in a rotational role.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Trains Tuesday Spicer (lower body) was training indoors Tuesday, according to John Molinaro of TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer looks to be on the mend after missing the club's last contest, as he was involved in indoor training Tuesday. He still will likely need to see an outside session before he is considered full fit. However, this is still good news heading into Saturday's contest.
APRIL 8 • ROTOWIRE
Not an option Sunday Spicer is out for Sunday's match against Miami due to a lower body injury.
Impact Spicer is not with the team as they head to Miami, as the attacker is out due to a lower body injury. This won't force a change, as he has yet to start in their past two outings. However, he has started din two of his four appearances and is a decent rotational option, so they will hope he is fit soon.
APRIL 5 • ROTOWIRE
No longer absent Spicer (international duty) is back with his club and is an option moving forward.
Impact Spicer is back from his time with Trinidad & Tobago and is an option to play for Toronto again. He started the two games before his absence in the midfield and could get that spot back immediately Saturday.
MARCH 29 • ROTOWIRE
Out with national team Spicer is out for Saturday's trip to NYRB after being called up by Trinidad & Tobago.
Impact Spicer won't be an option against the Red Bulls while he handles national team duty. The midfielder has started on the left wing in each of the last two matches. Theo Corbeanu could get the start Saturday with Spicer out.
MARCH 18 • ROTOWIRE
Registers four crosses Spicer had four crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-0 defeat against FC Cincinnati.
Impact Spicer saw his first start of the season Saturday, seeing 74 minutes of play after only seeing 25 minutes of play off the bench in his first two appearances of the season. His performance was okay, notching one chance created and four crosses in the attack to go along with two interceptions, two clearances and two tackles in the defense. He looks likely to continue in a rotational role but could work into starting time this season.
MARCH 9 • ROTOWIRE
Returning for second year Spicer's contract option for 2025 was picked up, Toronto announced.
Impact Spicer made 19 appearances (13 starts) during his rookie year, and is now set to return to Toronto. The midfielder contributed to three goals, adding a pair himself and assisting once. The midfielder will be back for 2025 where he could be in for a larger role as he continues to progress.
OCTOBER 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Unused sub Tuesday Spicer (back) was an unused sub in the 1-0 win over Forge on Tuesday in the Canadian Championship semifinals.
Impact Spicer didn't see action Tuesday, but the fact that he was on the bench means he is ready to return to action. His return shouldn't generate a lot of fantasy waves, as he's made just 10 starts for the Reds in MLS play this season.
AUGUST 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Set to miss six weeks Spicer (back) will miss the next six weeks, manager John Herdman told John Molinaro of TFC Republic in Thursday's pre-match press conference.
Impact Spicer is set to miss the next six weeks at a minimum, so the central midfielder won't return until the July break due to the Leagues Cup. Spicer hasn't played since June 1, and it will be a while before he's on the pitch once again. The midfielder has started in 10 of his 13 appearances this season.
JUNE 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out again Spicer (back) is out for Wednesday's match against Nashville.
Impact Spicer is once again heading to the sidelines, missing his second straight game due to his back issues. This will likely force Raoul Petretta to start in his place or Derick Etienne like last game. With Travis nearing a return, there is a decent chance he could feature in the club's next contest.
JUNE 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Could make return Spicer (back) is questionable for Wednesday's match against Nashville, according to manager John Herdman, per John Molinaro of TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer has dealt with multiple issues this season, with his most recent being a back problem that kept him out against the Fire. However, he is now questionable and could return. If fit, he will hope to start, as he has started in six of his last seven appearances, although they may want to be cautious and give him time off the bench.
JUNE 18, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with back problem Spicer is questionable for Saturday's game against Chicago due to a back injury, John Molinaro of TFC Republic reports.
Impact Spicer has seen regular minutes with Toronto this season, starting in 10 of his 13 appearances and bagging two goals while adding one assist. Spicer has also started in six of the team's last seven games, either as a right wing-back or left wing-back.
JUNE 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Picks up abdominal issue Spicer is in question for Wednesday's match against Philadelphia due to an abdominal injury, according to manager John Herdman, per John Molinaro of TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer is the newest Toronto player to hit the injury report, appearing to have picked up an abdominal issue following Saturday's loss to Cincinnati. He has been a regular starter this campaign when fit, so they will hope for his availability and for him to be healthy enough to possibly start. However, if he is left on the bench or out altogether, that will force a change, with Jahkeele Marchall-Rutty being his likely replacement if this is the case.
MAY 27, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Assist during start Spicer logged one assist on two chances created during Toronto FC's 5-1 win Saturday against CF Montreal.
Impact After scoring a goal during his last appearance of April, Spicer was added back to Toronto FC's starting XI before May and has been regularly on it since. He has two goals and one assist across 2024. The output is quite good, so Spicer could remain part of Toronto's starting XI even if the team works out its injury bug, limiting at least seven footballers.

Scores late equalizer Saturday Spicer scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-1 win over Orlando City SC.
Impact Spicer rose higher than anyone else and scored the equalizer late in the second half following a cross from Kobe Franklin. This was Spicer's second goal of the season, and the midfielder might have done enough to battle for a starting role when Toronto takes on FC Dallas next Saturday.
APRIL 28, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Available as expected Spicer (toe) is in the starting XI for Saturday's match against New England.
Impact Spicer was expected to return Saturday and he does return Saturday, coming straight back into the starting XI. The midfielder made three start starts before the injury and seems set to come straight back into the starting role.
APRIL 20, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Set for return Spicer (toe) is expected to be an option for Saturday's match against New England, according to manager John Herdman, per John Molinaro of TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer is now in line to make his return Saturday, which should come as no surprise after the midfielder was included in team training this week. This is great news for the club, as he is a regular starter when fit, most likely immediately reclaiming his starting spot on the left flank of the attack.
APRIL 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Trains fully Spicer (toe) was seen back in full training Wednesday ahead of Saturday's match against New England, per John Molinaro of the TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer will likely be good to go Saturday after returning to team training following a toe injury. He had previously starter the last three matches at the left midfield, recording a goal with 17 crosses (two accurate) in that span. Raoul Petretta had started the last outing in his spot, where he will look to compete for that position with Spicer once fully fit.
APRIL 17, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Officially out Spicer (toe) is out for Saturday's trip to Charlotte, per the MLS injury report.
Impact Spicer was originally listed as questionable but was downgraded to out in the final injury report. The defender will now miss Saturday's clash, and be in doubt for an April 20 match against New England. Spicer has started three matches in a row and will be tough to replace for Saturday's match, potentially prompting a change in formation.
APRIL 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Saturday Spicer is in question for Saturday's match against Charlotte due to toe issues, according to manager John Herdman, per John Molinaro of the TFC Republic.
Impact Spicer looks to have picked up a problem over the week, as he is now questionable with a toe complication. This could be an issue for the club, as the midfielder has started in the club's past three contests, with Jahkeele Marchall-Rutty being his most likely replacement due to Paoul Petretta also being questionable with a groin problem. The club will now most likely decide if Spicer is an option based on a late fitness test, with him returning to the starting XI as the best-case scenario, while any pain at all will probably force him to sit out.
APRIL 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Scores opener in win Spicer scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) and seven crosses (one accurate) in Saturday's 2-0 win versus Atlanta United.
Impact Spicer scored the opener in the 35th minute with his first goal in the season. That was his first start and second overall appearance in MLS play, since transferring from the USL. The midfielder also led his side in crosses during the match.
