Returning to LA Galaxy Lepley's option for 2026 was picked up, the club announced.

Impact Lepley will return to LA Galaxy for the 2026 season after the club exercised his option. The forward made 16 appearances this season, mainly coming off the bench, and contributed one assist to go with 13 shots, nine chances created and 12 crosses. Lepley will likely hold a similar role heading into 2026 for the Galaxy.

Key assist in draw Lepley assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders FC.

Impact Lepley's touch assisted the late equalizing goal for Los Angeles in their 2-2 draw at Seattle. The midfielder also created two chances and made one clearance across his 20-minute substitute appearance. After not appearing off of the substitute's bench in eight successive league fixtures, Lepley has now made three appearances (two starts) over Los Angeles's last three league matchups.

Impact Lepley was back in the starting XI for a fourth straight match Saturday. He would have a decent outing but nothing major, notching three crosses and three shots. He will look to gain a goal contribution soon, still with zero through his five appearances this season.

Impact Lepley started in central midfield Sunday, just his second start across the last two seasons. He played fairly well as he put one shot on target, created two chances and recorded two crosses. It's unclear how often he will find himself in the starting XI, but he at least looks set to have more of a role this season than he did with last season's squad.
