Suffers hand/wrist injury Muse has been ruled out for an undisclosed period because of hand and wrist injuries, per the MLS Player Status Report.

Impact Muse was the Timbers' starting goalkeeper during the Leagues Cup but has continued to stay on the bench behind James Pantemis in league play. Therefore, his loss limits the team's bench options rather than altering the initial lineup. No timeline was provided for Muse's recovery, but Hunter Sulte should step up as the first backup keeper for as long as he's sidelined.

Option extended Muse will return to Portland in 2026 after his option was picked up, Portland announced.

Impact Muse didn't appear in 2025 and has yet to make his MLS debut, but has enough promise that Portland decided to pick up his option. He will remain a depth option for 2026 likely filling the second or third spot on the depth chart unless he impresses in a big way in pre-season.
