Impact Lockyer was out since suffering cardiac arrest last December, but he's been set with an implantable defibrillator for a few months and seems hopeful of returning to the match. It'll likely be a gradual thing and it could come as soon as pre-season gets underway for Luton Town. At this point, it's assumed he got the go-ahead from doctors if he's looking to playing next season.

Impact Lockyer is now back at home recovering after being fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator following his scary situation back in December. He still has yet to start working on any movement or training, which should be expected after such a serious issue, but the player still is eyeing a return at some point, not wanting to give up on his career. However, this most likely wouldn't come until next season, if he does even return at all, as the defender still has to meet with doctors to discuss his situation and figure out what is to come in his future. He will hope to get the green light for next season, but unfortunately for him, that will most likely come in the Championship, with Luton not looking in good shape to remain in the Premier League.
