GAME LOG

Scores first goal this season Barry scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 57th minute.
Impact Barry finally got off the mark for Everton in first half stoppage time, finishing a three on one break by stroking Iliman Ndiaye's unselfish pass into the far corner to give a two goal lead to the Toffees. Earlier he had intercepted a poor Neco Williams back pass, helping create a chance that led to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's shot. His pressing and running in behind helped Everton maintain threat in transition even when Forest had more of the ball. Barry has struggled a lot this season in the final third, having targeted only two of his 16 shots in 15 appearances, one being his first goal of the season, showing how difficult it is to adapt to the Premier League.

Limited impact so far Barry has started in two of Everton's seven Premier League matches this season and has yet to record a goal or an assist.
Impact Barry bagged 11 goals across 35 league contests for Villarreal in LaLiga during the 2024/25 season, but he's been unable to make much of an impact since moving to Everton. Expect him to remain as the backup of Beto in the attacking line, meaning his fantasy upside will be minimal until further notice.

Quiet in Cup start Barry started a second consecutive match and was once again held quiet at the tip of the attack.
Impact Barry failed to get much going Wednesday, though it was encouraging that he started a second match in a row after starting a 2-0 win over Brighton in the Premier League. Barry is still an unfinished product, but he has plenty of upside with a strong frame and good goalscoring instincts. He should remain an important part of the attack as Everton look to improve with quite a few new signings throughout the attack.

Impact Barry has suffered a hamstring injury and is ruled out of Saturday's game. The coach hopes to see him back before the end of the season if his recovery goes well in the coming days. Starting Sunday Barry (undisclosed) is in the starting XI for Sunday's meeting with Athletic Club.
Impact Barry achieved a quick recovery after being questionable during the week, so he may be fit for plenty of minutes in his second straight start. The forward scored a goal in his previous appearance but was somewhat erratic before that. He could be a source of offensive production in a front two alongside Ayoze Perez, although he may be replaced by Gerard Moreno at some point.
