Tim Iroegbunam - Not training, out Sunday
Iroegbunam (undisclosed) is out for Sunday's match against Aston Villa after not training this week, according to manager David Moyes. "They're getting closer, but they're not tra...
Impact
Iroegbanum is still struggling with an injury that was initially deemed a minor one, but it appears to be more serious after he had to miss training this week. This is something for the club to watch moving forward, as they are already without three other midfielders, seeing a bit of a crisis in the midfield. There is a chance he could get back into training next week and be ready for play, although little has been given on his status.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - Out another game
Dewbury-Hall (hamstring) has yet to train and is not an option for the club yet, according to manager David Moyes. "They're getting closer, but they're not training yet."
Impact
Dewsbury-Hall is going to have to miss a seventh straight game Sunday, with the midfielder still struggling to return from a hamstring injury he picked up to start December. With the midfielder yet to train but nearing a return, he is likely to get back on the pitch in the next week or two, hoping to be an option by February.

Carlos Alcaraz - Still not training
Alcaraz (undisclosed) is out for Sunday's match against Aston Villa and has yet to train, according to manager David Moyes. "They're getting closer, but they're not training yet."
Impact
Alcaraz is going to be out for another match on Sunday, set to be sidelined a fifth straight game as he recovers from injury, although he has yet to train. He will now turn to next week to find the training pitch again, but that is up in the air, hoping to be an option again before the end of the month.

Seamus Coleman - Steps up recovery
Coleman (hamstring) is stepping up his recovery, the club announced.
Impact
Coleman missed all the games since late November due to a hamstring injury but is nearing a return in the squad since he is stepping up his recovery. The defender was spotted training his one on one in a session on Thursday. That said, the return of Coleman won't impact the starting XI of the Toffees since he has mainly been a bench option this season.

Jarrad Branthwaite - Returns to light training
Branthwaite returned to light training Tuesday in his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury.
Impact
Branthwaite is edging closer to a return to full training, something that'll likely happen in the next week. However, given the setbacks and troubles of getting back to full health over the last few months, it's likely he'll be brought along slowly and need a full week of full training before he can be considered. Once available, he'll likely push Michael Keane for starts and minutes in the XI.

Michael Keane - Red card appeal dismissed
Keane will remain suspended three matches after his red card appeal was dismissed by the FA panel.
Impact
Everton and David Moyes are rightly upset at the FA's decision to keep the red and three-game suspension for Keane. He'll be suspended until Jan. 31, being suspended for one FA Cup match and two in league play. With Jarrad Branthwaite still injured, that likely means Jake O'Brien has to move centrally while possibly Nathan Patterson features at right-back.

Jarrad Branthwaite - Back on grass
Branthwaite (hamstring) is back on grass and nearing a return from injury, coach David Moyes said in a press conference. "He's back on grass, hopefully not to far."
Impact
Branthwaite was spotted back on grass this week in the final stages of his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury that made him miss the first part of the season with the Toffees. The center back is making good progress and could be in line to return to the match squad before the end of the month if everything goes as planned. That would be good news for Everton, with the recent three game suspension received by his substitute Michael Keane.

James Tarkowski - Busy defensive display in draw
Tarkowski registered one tackle (zero won) and 11 clearances in Wednesday's 1-1 draw versus Wolverhampton.
Impact
Tarkowski was required to be on top of his game defensively to stop Wolves, but even then, he couldn't prevent the Mateus Mane equaliser, which left the game finishing 1-1. He made 11 clearances and two blocks. This is the fourth time this season that he has made 10 or more clearances.

Impact
Iroegbunam picked up his second assist of the season as he helped Everton take the lead against Wolves. He put the ball back into the box after a set-piece and Michael Keane was able to put the ball into the top corner. He created three chances in the game and this was only the third game he had created a chance at all this season and was the first time he had created more than one.

ROTOWIRE
Jordan Pickford - Three saves in 1-1 draw
Pickford registered three saves and allowed one goal in Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton.
Impact
Pickford made three saves but was unable to prevent the Wolves equalizer from Mateus Mane. The keeper has kept eight clean sheets this season, but has failed to keep a clean sheet in the last two home matches against Brentford and Wolves. In the run before this he kept six clean sheets in nine games, four of which came away from home.

ROTOWIRE
Jack Grealish - Receives red card in draw
Grealish was sent off with a second yellow card during Wednesday's 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton.
Impact
Grealish played almost the entire match but earned a pair of bookings due to arguments in the second half. The talented midfielder will consequently miss the FA Cup meeting with Sunderland before returning to contention to face Aston Villa on Jan. 18. Dwight McNeil and Tyler Dibling might be active while Grealish serves his ban, with Iliman Ndiaye offering another attacking midfield option when he returns from international duty.

ROTOWIRE
Michael Keane - Sent off Wednesday
Keane was shown a red card in the second half of Wednesday's draw against Wolverhampton.
Impact
Keane was given his marching orders after a violent action during his second consecutive league start. The center-back will be ineligible for a minimum of there games, and his place in the starting lineup could be taken by Nathan Patterson if Jarrad Branthwaite (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Carlos Alcaraz - Expected to remain out
Alcaraz (undisclosed) is expected to remain out for Wednesday's match against Wolves, according to manager David Moyes.
Impact
Alcaraz has missed the last two matches despite Moyes not really giving an update on his actual injury. After starting four of five matches, Alcaraz is set to miss his third straight match with an unknown issue. His absence means more time for Tyler Dibling and Merlin Rohl while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Iliman Ndiaye are also out.
