Leaves Udinese bout in first half Lobotka subbed out in the 37th minute of Sunday's fixture versus Udinese because of a muscular problem, Gianluca Di Marzio reported, after failing to record meaningful stats.
Impact Lobotka managed the ball but didn't put up stats during his time on the pitch and required some medical assistance before bowing out before the interval. He's been an integral part of the squad for the fourth season on the trot, but he rarely fills the stat sheet or contributes offensively. He has scored and assisted once and posted 36 tackles, 21 interceptions and 32 clearances in 38 showings.

Very quiet versus Cagliari Lobotka (quad) completed 47 passes, committed one foul and was booked in 55 minutes in Friday's 1-0 win over Cagliari.
Impact Lobotka got the nod after sitting out two fixtures because of a small injury, but didn't pick up stats on either end, snapping a three-game streak with at least one tackle. He serves as a major ball handler but rarely puts up numbers. He has tallied three shots (one on target), three chances created and seven clearances in his last five displays. His return will reduce Billy Gilmour's minutes, although the two started together in this one, as Frank Anguissa is working his way back from an injury, and Scott McTominay played in a more attacking role.

Impact Lobotka has worked on the side for most of the week and won't be rushed back to avoid a more substantial injury. Billy Gilmour is expected to replace him again, possibly joined by Frank Anguissa or Scott McTominay (thigh). Lobotka will be re-evaluated ahead of the Cagliari game before the break.
MARCH 13 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out for Torino tilt Lobotka will skip Friday's match versus Torino because of a quad injury, TuttoSport relayed.
Impact Lobotka isn't believed to be dealing with anything too serious, but hasn't been spotted in training late in the week and will miss at least one fixture. His next opportunity will come next Saturday versus Lecce. Billy Gilmour is set to start next to Elijf Elmas as Scott McTominay (thigh) is out again, but Frank Anguissa and Kevin De Bruyne might be available after lengthy absences in the midfield.
