SEPTEMBER 28, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Should be back versus Atleti Kjaer was pictured in training Monday and should be good to go for Tuesday's match against Atletico Madrid, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.
Impact Kjaer appears on track to return after two games on the shelf due to a minor thigh problem. If that were the case, he could unseat Alessio Romagnoli right away depending on his conditions. He has posted seven tackles, three interceptions, 13 clearances and five blocks thus far, contributing to one clan sheet in four games.
SEPTEMBER 27, 2021 • ROTOWIRE

Bags own goal in 2-1 Euro loss Kjaer scored an own goal but tallied three aerials won, four interceptions, six clearances and team-high 61 passes completed in Wednesday's 2-1 extra time defeat to England.
Impact Kjaer made a desperate slide in attempt to intercept a brilliant pass towards Rahim Sterling, who was all set up for an easy tap in, but the defender was merely able to tuck the ball in the back of his own net himself. Despite this unfortunate even the defender turned in a terrific defensive display and may have compensated the negative contribution in some formats. He was a rock in the back for Denmark finishing the Euro campaign with one clean sheet, 10 tackles, 10 interceptions and 22 clearances in six starts.
