Impact Verre filled in for Mikkel Damsgaard in this one but he did not last long. He recently returned from a physical problem. The coach opted to insert a defender, Radu Dragusin, and switch to a three-man defense once he subbed off. That could be the case again in Wednesday's match versus Atalanta.

Impact Sher will miss multiple matches because of the injury. He made his debut two games back and was currently the top backup in the midfield since Spezia are dealing with several injuries. Dennis Delorie is the only option behind starters Giulio Maggiore and Viktor Kovalenko. They have also adapted Salvador Ferrer and Daniele Verde to the position recently.
