Federico Bernardeschi - Comes off the bench well versus Empoli Bernardeschi sent in five crosses (one accurate), created one scoring chance, drew one foul and won five duels in Saturday's in 35 minutes in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Juventus.
Impact Bernardeschi put together the second decent showing in a row and seems rather rejuvenated after a positive summer with Italy. He will likely have a more consistent role compared to last season if Juventus did not add another piece in the midfield. They will face Napoli away in two weeks.

Alex Sandro - Fills stat-sheet against Empoli Sandro sent in three crosses (zero accurate), created three scoring chances and had three interceptions and four clearances in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Empoli.
Impact Sandro provided a solid effort on both ends of the pitch, although it did not lead to a good result for Juventus. He had done okay in the opener too and, while he is not the most exciting player, he generally has a strong base. Juventus will face Napoli away in two weeks.

Rodrigo Bentancur - Decent in Empoli game Bentancur created two scoring chances, had two interceptions, won four duels and took one off-target shot in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Empoli.
Impact Bentancur was not particularly impressive but he managed to pick up stats in multiple categories and contributed in both phases. He had an assist in the opener. Juventus will face Napoli away in two weeks.

Adrien Rabiot - Does little against Empoli Rabiot (thigh) took one off-target shot, sent in three inaccurate crosses, won two duels and drew one foul in 55 minutes in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Empoli.
Impact Rabiot was selected in the starting lineup right away upon recovering from a thigh injury, but he did not have a good performance and was pulled in the second half. He tallied four goals and two assists last season. Juventus will face Napoli away in two weeks.

Manuel Locatelli - Makes Juventus debut Locatelli took three off-target shots, created one scoring chance and won one tackle and one duel in 24 minutes in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Empoli.
Impact Locatelli is still being worked into the rotation as he did not participate in the offseason with Sassuolo and does not have a lot of minutes in his legs. He looked decent in his brief cameo. He is slated to be much more involved going forward. Juventus will face Napoli away in two weeks.

Paulo Dybala - Underwhelming versus Empoli Dybala took three shots (one on target), sent in six crosses (zero accurate), drew one foul and had one successful take-on in Saturday's 0-1 loss to Juventus.
Impact Dybala had to shoulder the whole weight of the attack in the first half and mostly struggled to get it going, plus he misfired in a few attempts from decent positions. He is set to have a major role due to the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. He had shined in the opener. Juventus will face Napoli away in two weeks.
