Marin Pongracic - Scores first career Serie A goal Pongracic scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Sunday's 3-1 defeat to Como.

Impact Pongracic came into the lineup for the injured Luca Ranieri (foot) against Como, his first start after four straight games among the substitutes. The centre back marked the occasion with his first in the league for Fiorentina, also his first Serie A gaol. The Croatian nearly had a second before the break, but the offside flag denied him, and Fiorentina went on to lose 3-1 at home. He finished with one interception, one block and three clearances.

David De Gea - Allows three in difficult outing de Gea recorded five saves and allowed three goals in Sunday's 3-1 loss versus Como.

Impact De Gea endured another difficult afternoon as Como won 3-1 at the Franchi. The goalkeeper made five saves but was at fault for the third goal when he let an Anastasios Douvikas effort through his legs. The Spaniard has conceded two or more goals in six of his seven league starts, and his only shutout so far this season came in the Coppa Italia against Pisa. With Fiorentina heading to Inter on Sunday, his struggles could well continue.

Mattia Liberali - Scores in first league start Liberali scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) and three crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Fiorentina.

Impact Liberali was not the man Cesc Fabregas turned to when Assane Diao went off injured early in the midweek Champions League defeat at Feyenoord, but he took Diao's place on the right for the trip to Fiorentina. The winger made the most of his first start for Como with four shots, and one of them brought his first Serie A goal to open the scoring in a 3-1 win. The teenager also sent in three crosses and put in a disciplined shift without the ball, with one interception, one clearance and three of his five tackles won. He made way late on, but this display could earn him further chances on the right.

Maxence Caqueret - Registers first goal contribution Caqueret assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal), two crosses (two accurate) and four chances created in Sunday's 3-1 victory versus Fiorentina.

Impact Caqueret secured the nod on the left side of the attack for Fiorentina, marking his second consecutive league start after sitting out the midweek Champions League defeat to Feyenoord due to being unregistered for the tournament. The midfielder repaid coach Cesc Fabregas for his tactical faith over the full 90 minutes of a 3-1 victory by winning four tackles defensively and recording two shots offensively. The Frenchman also created four chances, converting one into an assist to secure his first goal contribution of the season.

Nico Paz - Goal and assist in win Nico Paz scored one goal and assisted once from four shots and one chance created in Sunday's 3-1 win over Fiorentina. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 39th minute.

Impact Paz returned to the scoresheet in Como's 3-1 win at Fiorentina and ended a run of five games without a goal that stretched back to early September against Genoa. The midfielder was a constant threat in front of goal and headed home an Alex Valle cross to double the lead before the break. His first chance created of the afternoon then set up Anastasios Douvikas for the third early in the second half, and he made way for Maximo Perrone a few minutes later after 61 minutes, a shorter outing after he played the full 90 in midweek.

Anastasios Douvikas - Back to back on scoresheet Tasos Douvikas scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 3-1 victory against Fiorentina.

Impact Douvikas had come on as a substitute in the Champions League at Feyenoord in midweek and scored in stoppage time of that defeat, so he arrived in form. The striker played all 90 minutes and converted one of his three attempts early in the second half. That makes it three league goals across six starts and back to back goals in all competitions for the Greek forward.

Jean Butez - Makes five saves against Fiorentina Butez had five saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over Fiorentina.

Impact Butez returned between the posts for Como's 3-1 win at Fiorentina after making way for Robert Sanchez in the midweek Champions League defeat to Feyenoord. The goalkeeper was kept busy against Fiorentina and made five saves, though he was beaten once when Marin Pongracic scrambled home from a corner. The goalkeeper remains Como's first choice in the league, but the arrival of Sanchez late in the summer window has given coach Cesc Fabregas a genuine alternative, and the two have split the European starts so far. He could return to the Champions League lineup when Manchester United visit on Wednesday, though nothing has been confirmed.
