Adrien Silva - Picks up knock in Empoli game Silva won one of two tackles, drew one foul and had three interceptions and three clearances before subbing off after a blow to the knee in Sunday's 3-0 win over Empoli.

Impact Silva worked hard in the midfield as per usual, but he got banged up in a collision with an opponent. Albin Ekdal would return to the XI if Silva could not recover in time for Thursday's home game versus Napoli.

Morten Thorsby - Limps off against Empoli Thorsby won one of four tackles and had two clearances in 63 minutes before bowing out due to a leg injury in Sunday's 3-0 win over Empoli.

Impact Thorsby could not finish the game because of a knock and will be assessed in the next couple of days ahead of Thursday's clash with Napoli. He was replaced by Kristoffer Askilden. Adrien Silva appeared to get hurt in this one as well, therefore Sampdoria could be depleted in the midfield in the next game.
