Impact Obermair was one of the more creative and productive players in Paderborn's promotion push, his set-piece delivery and ability to generate chances from wide areas making him a key attacking weapon throughout the campaign. His seven assists underline his importance as a creator, consistently delivering the final ball that unlocked opposing defenses, with his set-piece responsibilities adding an additional dimension to his influence on the team's attacking play. The partial Achilles tendon tear is a significant setback that brought his season to a premature end, but the club has confirmed he has begun rehabilitation with the objective of being ready for the start of next season in the Bundesliga. Getting Obermair fit and available from the outset will be an important priority for Paderborn as they prepare for life in the top flight.
