Should be available Saturday Arias (leg) returned to training with Cincinnati on Thursday and has been cleared to feature against the Fire at the weekend, Laurel Pfahler of the Queen City Press reports.
Impact Arias has missed his side's last two games with a leg injury, but he has recovered now and is expected to see some playing time against Chicago on Saturday. He could take back over from Raymon Gaddis at right wing-back if he's fit enough to start.
MARCH 16, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Doubtful for Saturday Arias (leg) is listed as questionable in Cincinnati's injury report for Saturday's clash against the Sounders.
Impact Arias missed last weekend's draw against Orlando City with a leg injury and was replaced by Raymon Gaddis at right wing-back. Arias was able to train individually on Tuesday, according to Laurel Pfahler of the Queen City Press, but he isn't expected to train in full until next week. FCC manager Pat Noonan said Thursday that Arias is "progressing in a good way" to be available by the match against Chicago on March 18.

Out against Orlando Arias (leg) was not in Cincinnati's match day squad for Saturday's draw against Orlando City.
Impact Arias was replaced by Raymon Gaddis at right-back as a leg injury ruled him out of Saturday's match. He will hope to be fit enough to return by next weekend's clash against the Sounders.

Status uncertain for weekend Arias is dealing with a leg injury and may not be available to face Orlando City on Saturday, Laurel Pfahler of the Queen City Press reports.
Impact Arias started and played 87 minutes in his MLS debut last weekend, but he has picked up a leg injury since and is now listed as questionable in Cincinnati's injury report for Saturday. Raymon Gaddis could replace him at right-back against Orlando if necessary.

FEBRUARY 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Signs with Cincinnati Arias has completed a transfer to Cincinnati, the club announced Thursday.
Impact Arias signed a one-year deal with a club option for 2024. He has yet to play this season as he's been out of contract following release from Atletico Madrid, but he'll have a few weeks to get up his fitness ahead of the new season. At his peak, he was a regular for Atletico, though he's seen minimal pitch time since that 2018/19 campaign following a move from PSV. In Cincinnati, he figures to immediately contend for starts, though Alvas Powell and Raymon Gaddis are also there to compete for right-back minutes.
FEBRUARY 9, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Reportedly out of contract Arias has come to an agreement with Atletico Madrid to end his contract, according to Carlos Fernandez of MARCA.
Impact Arias spent last season at Granada, where he made four starts from 12 appearances and came far closer to overcoming the serious injuries that have plagued the last three years of his career. A capable player when fit, Arias likely needs to search for a new club.
AUGUST 10, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Back on bench in season finale Arias was an unused substitute in last weekend's 0-0 draw against Espanyol.
Impact Arias had another disappointing loan spell this season, scoring a goal but making just 12 La Liga appearances (four starts) at right back behind Quini in the depth chart as Granada were relegated on the final day. Arias is set to return to Atletico Madrid in the summer, but there seems to be no future for him at the club.
JUNE 8, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Starts in loss Arias created three chances on five crosses (two accurate) and won two-of-three tackles during Sunday's 2-0 loss to Betis.
Impact Arias made his first start since December of 2021 during the penultimate game of the season. With a relatively clean performance, he could be worth tracking if fit come the fall, and still in La Liga. To finish the campaign, Espanyol will visit on Sunday.
MAY 16, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Back on bench Arias logged 13 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 6-2 win over Mallorca.
Impact Arias has played in each of the last two matches after missing the first four months of 2022. He'll hope to get more chances to play in the final weeks of the campaign, beginning with Tuesday's visit from Athletic Club.
MAY 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
No closer to returning Arias (strain) is still no closer to recovering from a muscle injury he suffered in December, according to Marca.
Impact Arias has started three La Liga games while on-loan with Granada this season, and he hasn't featured at all since 2021 as he's been dealing with a muscular injury for three months now. He hasn't found consistent playing time -- at parent club Atletico, or on-loan with Leverkusen and Granada -- since the 2018/19 campaign, and there is plenty of uncertainty surrounding his future while he continues working to get fit.

Scores off bench Arias scored one goal in 10 minutes off the bench during Friday's 2-1 win over Deportivo Alaves.
Impact Arias has started in just two of his five appearances this season but made a big impact by scoring the winning goal in the 86th minute. Depending on how Arias is utilized as a winger or as a fullback, he could begin to generate some value following his performance in Friday's game. Up next is a trip to Cadiz.

DECEMBER 3, 2021 • Associated Press
Logs four crosses in first start Arias logged four inaccurate crosses and put one shot off target during Monday's 2-1 loss to Real Betis.
Impact Arias made his first start since joining Granada and since suffering a serious ankle injury in October of 2020. Though the team didn't play perfectly, this is still a positive sign for Arias that he could be a reliable right-back with a few more games under his belt. Up next is a tough trip to Barcelona, though the Catalans may not be as threatening with injuries plaguing their attacking group.
SEPTEMBER 14, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Loaned to Granada Arias has joined Granada on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid, the club announced Monday.
Impact Arias spent last year on loan with Leverkusen but only made one Bundesliga appearance before suffering a long-term ankle injury. He will hope to have a bounce back season this time with Granada, where he should be the starter at right back as Dimitri Foulquier has just left for Valencia.
AUGUST 30, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Not in training Arias didn't participate in Wednesday's training session, according to AS.
Impact Arias returned to Atletico Madrid in the offseason after an ankle injury derailed last season for him and he's already dealing with other issues. To start the season, he's likely to back up Kieran Trippier on the right flank.

Plays in friendly Arias featured in Wednesday's friendly loss against Red Bull Salzburg.
Impact Arias had missed the majority of last season with an ankle injury but at least looks to be healthy heading into the coming campaign. It will be interesting to see if he or Sime Vrsaljko gets the backup job behind Kieran Trippier at right-back. In a similar situation last season, Arias ended up on loan at Bayer Leverkusen before picking up his injury.
