Signs with Vancouver through 2030 Modesto has joined the Whitecaps from Udinese on a contract through the 2029-30 season, the club announced.

Impact Modesto moves to Vancouver after his time in Italy stalled, making just 25 appearances with six starts across a season and a half at Udinese before a second-half loan to Serie B side Palermo, where he started five of 10 games and produced a goal and an assist. The transfer is about getting back to regular football, and the Whitecaps get an experienced right back with 160 professional appearances in Europe, 28 goals and 32 assists.

Transfers to Udinese Modesto is headed to Udinese on a permanent deal from AIK, the team announced.

Impact Modesto found some success in Finland and Sweden after leaving his home country. He has tallied 16 goals and 10 assists in 59 matches with his former team, playing in several roles on both flanks. He'll push Kingsley Ehizibue and Etienne Kamara for minutes once he settles in.
