However, the incident has been reviewed by the DFB Sports Court, and the ban has now been upgraded, as he will miss two games. This will leave him out to face Bayern Munich on Saturday and against Union Berlin on Sept. 11, returning to face Elversberg on Sept. 20. This will force a change after he earned the start in the last contest, with Eric Junior as a possible replacement.
