Sepp Van den Berg - Still out against Koln Van den Berg (ankle) "will be sidelined for the foreseeable future," Schalke manager Thomas Reis announced Friday.
Impact Van den Berg has been out since early October with an ankle injury that required surgery, and there is still no clear timeline on his return. Impact Terodde tried his best to get a goal through Eintracht Frankfurt's defense, but he was unable. He has not sat out any of Schalke's games this season though, so fantasy managers should expect him to be a competently threatening option whenever the team plays. Teroode has 30 shots (13 on goal) across his 2022-23 Bundesliga season.

Alexander Schwolow - Allows three goals Schwolow conceded three goals in Saturday's 3-0 loss against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Impact Schwolow allowed goals from Jesper Lindstrom, Buta and Rafael Santos Borre without logging any saves compensating for his concessions. The goalkeeper will try to redeem himself but is not expected to when Schalke hosts RB Leipzig on Tuesday. Schwolow maintained only one clean sheet across 13 games his team has played since Aug. 27.

Impact Frey scored seven goals in 14 Belgian Jupiler League games with Royal Antwerp during the first half of the season, and the 28-year-old striker is now moving to the Bundesliga with Schalke on-loan for the remainder of the campaign. He will likely be the backup to Simon Terodde up front, taking the place of the injured Sebastian Polter (knee).

Dominick Drexler - Ruled out Drexler (COVID-19) has yet to return to training and won't be an option for Saturday's clash with Frankfurt, according to manager Thomas Reis.
Impact Drexler has yet to make a return to training and is still testing negatively. The forwards next chance to return is a Tuesday clash with Leipzig on short rest, where he would likely be a bench option as he recovers from COVID-19.

Rodrigo Zalazar Martinez - Hopeful for return Zalazar (foot) isn't ready to return for Saturday's trip to Frankfurt, according to manager Thomas Reis.
Impact Zalazar isn't ready but has made a return to team training, Reis added. The midfielder will be targeting a return in the coming matches with a Jan. 29 clash with Koln one possibility.
