Moving to St. Louis in the summer Burki has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract that will begin in July with St. Louis City SC, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Burki has kept 83 clean sheets in 232 appearances in all competitions with Dortmund after joining from Freiburg in summer 2015, but the 31-year-old keeper dropped out of favor last season and he is yet to feature at all in this campaign behind Gregor Kobel and Marwin Hitz in the pecking order. He is now moving to MLS's newest expansion club STLSC in the summer, although the club won't join the league until the 2023 season.
