Impact Doan was expected to be an attacking threat on the right flank for Japan, but considering he had to deal with the threat of Vinicius Junior, it's not surprising to see him operating in a more defensive stance. Even though Doan fits best as a winger, he's capable of covering the entire flank. In four World Cup starts, the Frankfurt winger notched one assist, seven clearances, four tackles, one chance created and five crosses.
