Impact Williams had already struggled with injuries, with a back injury limiting him to time on the pitch with previous loan team Aberdeen. He will remain with the Reds as he will continue to rehab from his new injury.

Returning from loan Williams was recalled by Liverpool from his loan spell with Aberdeen on Wednesday.

Impact Considering Williams made just one appearance for the Scottish club during his loan, the fact that Liverpool decided to bring him back shouldn't come as a surprise. It's unlikely the defender will see any minutes with the first team and is probably a candidate to be sent back out on loan elsewhere.

Impact Williams started out of necessity because of the late injury to Ozan Kabak, among others.
