Transfers to PSG Sanches has signed a five-year contract with PSG after transferring from Lille, the club announced Thursday.

Impact Sanches revitalized his career in Lille, tallying six goals and nine assists in 66 Ligue 1 appearances across his three seasons with the team, and he helped them upset his new club PSG for the 2020/21 league title. The 24-year-old is now moving to the perennial French favorites himself, where he will be competing with the likes of Marco Verratti, Danilo and Vitinha in midfield -- along with Idrissa Gueye, Leandro Paredes and Rafinha if they remain at the club. Angel Gomes meanwhile will likely take over his spot in the XI back at Lille.
