Impact Edwards continued early exits have limited him to just three crosses (zero accurate), two chances created and 11 tackles (four won) in those four appearances. As such, the left-back hasn't been offering more than mid-range fantasy value with no clear path to increased opportunities down the stretch.

Comes off injured in U.S. Open Cup Edwards was subbed out of Tuesday's 1-0 U.S. Open Cup victory against San Diego Loyal SC in the 59th minute after suffering an apparent injury.

Impact Galaxy manager Greg Vanney told reporters after Tuesday's game that he thinks Edwards is "alright" and that the sub was more of a precaution than anything serious. His next opportunity to return will be Saturday against Nashville in MLS.

Joins Los Angeles Edwards has signed a three-year contract with the Galaxy with the option to extend for an additional year, the club announced Friday.

Impact Edwards made 27 appearances (15 starts) during his lone season with LAFC in 2021, and he has now moved to cross-town rivals the Galaxy, where his versatility will allow him to challenge for a starting spot almost anywhere on the field.
