Impact For the 2025-26 Premier League, West Ham maintained Paqueta. At least temporarily, he rewarded the Hammers. Fewer than seven minutes into the game, Paqueta scored outside Chelsea's penalty box, shortly before they lost their grip. In terms of goals, he is consistent, with each of West Ham's previous three seasons including his four scored. With his latest appearances including one goal, him surpassing the four-goal tally this season looks promising.

El Hadji Malick Diouf - Fortunate assist Friday Diouf assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Friday's 5-1 defeat against Chelsea.
Impact Diouf benefited from an excellent goal, which Lucas Paqueta scored, outside Chelsea's penalty box. Currently, the former's stats include six clearances and three chances created. Even though his team is off form, Diouf isn't, though Paqueta contributed to much of it.

James Ward Prowse - Logs four accurate crosses Ward-Prowse registered one shot (zero on goal), eight crosses (four accurate) and five corners in Friday's 5-1 loss against Chelsea.
Impact For last season's Premier League's games, Ward-Prowse never logged more than three accurate crosses. The midfielder will try to prove that he is a consistently reliable option. During the previous season, Ward-Prowse was not, one of his worst campaigns to date.

Mads Hermansen - Five goals conceded Hermansen registered two saves and allowed five goals in Friday's 5-1 defeat to Chelsea.
Impact After poorly beginning his 2025-26 season at Sunderland, it became worse Friday. Despite two saves again, he conceded more goals. Hermansen will try to redeem himself during West Ham's next game, currently scheduled for Aug. 31 at Nottingham Forest.

Pedro Neto - Excellent effort Friday Neto scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal), seven crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Friday's 5-1 victory over West Ham United.
Impact Neto logged Chelsea's second goal. It is his 2025-26 season's first. From the flanks, Neto continues to scare, with its two appearances including 9.5 crosses (2.0 accurate) and 4.5 corners per game. For the latter, despite no assist, two of Neto's three created goals.
