Where he did have chances he did not execute them well. He is likely to have the same challenges in Bournemouth's next game against league leaders Arsenal. The regular starter has scored just three goals and delivered four assists.

Neto - Concedes four in loss Neto conceded four and managed two saves in Saturday's 4-1 thrashing by Manchester City.

Impact Neto was not able to make a difference against an assertive Manchester City attacking line on Saturday. He managed to save just two of the five shots-on-target he faced, and did not exhibit the confidence and swagger we have seen for the Cherries captain in recent games (he had only conceded three in his previous four matches). He will face an equally tough challenge in Bournemouth's next game against league leaders Arsenal. From 14 appearances (all starts) he has now conceded 17 (1.2 per game) and managed 46 saves.

Impact Lerma managed to score a consolation goal for the Cherries on Saturday. It was the Columbian's first strike since October. The feisty midfielder has started in all the Cherries 24 games and scored three goals. He will be challenged to add to his total in Bournemouth's next game against league leaders Arsenal.

Erling Haaland - Chalks up goal number 27 Haaland scored from this only shot-on-target in Saturday's 4-1 result over Bournemouth. He also hit the woodwork and had two shots blocked.

Impact Haaland continued his impressive scoring record on Saturday. He has now scored in two of his last three EPL games, and with 27 goals he is the EPL's current top scorer by quite a margin (next is Harry Kane with 17). He has now eclipsed Sergio Aguero as City's top goalscorer in a season. He was subbed after 72 for Maximo Perrone. In his current sharp form there is a good chance he will find the net in City's next game against Newcastle. The regular starting striker has also provided four assists.

Ilkay Gundogan - Poor performance in rout victory Gundogan did not manage to place any shots-at-goal in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Impact Gundogan, the captain, had a poor game on Saturday, The forward did not manage any shots-at-goal and was not an active playmaker. Unsurprisingly he was subbed after 55 for Sergio Gomez. City will be looking for him to rekindle his recent form (two assists and a goal from his previous three matches) in their next match against Newcastle. From 22 appearances (18 starts) he has scored three goals and provided three assists.

Jack Grealish - Could have been more effective in win Grealish managed just one shot, which was blocked, in Saturday's 4-1 win over Bournemouth.

Impact Grealish was out-performed by his attacking teammates on Saturday. He managed just one shot-at-goal and the forward did not contribute to any of City's five shots-on-target. He did score decent points in defensive duties but more would be expected of him as an attacker. He was subbed after 72 for Riyad Mahrez. From 19 appearances (15 starts) he has scored just three goals and contributed to four assists.

Impact Foden put in an outstanding performance on Saturday. He was a constant menace, playing on both wings, and was one of The Citizens principal playmakers (making seven crosses, two being accurate, and creating a big chance). The English international is not a regular starter for City. He is used by boss, Pep Guardiola, strategically as needed. It is unclear whether he will start in City's next game against Newcastle, but if he doesn't he will almost certainly be used from the bench in the second half.
