Marcus Tavernier - Crossbar strike in loss Tavernier recorded two shots (one on goal), eight crosses (three accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 1-0 loss against Chelsea.

Impact Tavernier was a live wire down Bournemouth's attacking left flank Saturday. He placed a shot on target and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet with a screaming effort from outside the box that rattled the crossbar. The regular starter has scored one this season and will likely improve upon the three goals and four assists he contributed 2023-24.

Justin Kluivert - Solid midfield contribution in loss Kluivert registered two shots (both on target) and created a chance in Saturday's 1-0 defeat against Chelsea. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 59th minute.

Impact Kluivert tucked in behind Evanilson Saturday to lead Bournemouth's midfield attack. He made a solid contribution to the Cherries team effort; engaging in two interceptions, a tackle and a clearance in defense, challenging for midfield duels and placing two shots on target. He was subbed after 75 minutes. The Dutch international has contributed an assist this season and is maturing, he will likely better his seven strikes and assist from last season.

Impact Evanilson is still trying to find his feet at Bournemouth since joining them from Porto last month. He did make three goal threatening attempts Saturday, one on target. Chelsea keeper, Robert Sanchez, fouled him to draw a penalty and the striker did not execute the ensuing spot kick well, it was saved by the Spaniard. He was subbed after 68 minutes. It is early days with three match appearances but the Brazilian international looks sharp and dangerous, he is likely to be a regular goalscorer as the season progresses.

Impact Semenyo led the Bournemouth attack down their right flank Saturday. He was one of the Cherries more active players in midfield duels, but despite having a goalbound attempt blocked he did not manage to place any shots on target. The regular starting midfielder is having a strong season, he has already bagged two goals and contributed an assist from the season's opening four games.

Impact Travers made a rare starting appearance Saturday. The Cherries new choice starter, Chelsea loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga, could not face his home club. The Irishman posted a decent performance making two goalbound saves, the conceded strike could not be put down to an error on his part. He will likely resume his position on the bench in future games.

Impact Palmer did not manage to place any shots at goal Saturday in Chelsea's 1-0 victory over Bournemouth. Given his scoring threat he was successfully marked by the Cherries and drew four fouls. The 22-year-old has been on hot form, from the season's opening four games he created four assists and netted a goal. This performance was probably just a glitch in what promises to be an effective goal scoring season for him.

Impact Feliz came on from the bench Saturday after 61 minutes to replace Noni Madueke. Last month's 49.2M Euro signing from Atletico Madrid made no attempts at goal or material contributions to the game. The Portuguese international has yet to make a start but scored one in the season opener. More will be expected of him, he netted seven and created three assists last season with Atletico.
