Impact Mpanzu joined Luton Town in 2013 and helped the club rise out of the fifth tier of English football to the Premier League. So, while his first season in the England's top flight was not quite a success, the fact that he played in the Premier League is a massive achievement in and of itself. With his contract not expiring until 2025, he will look to help Luton achieve another promotion back to the Premier League next season.

Impact Mpanzu is set to start again due to the rash of injuries throughout Luton Town's squad. He has just one start since December, but there's nowhere else for Rob Edwards to turn. As a defensive midfield, Mpanzu has totaled 10 shots and six chances created across 22 appearances (nine starts) this season.

Forced off field Mpanzu was forced off the pitch in the 60th minute of Saturday's match against Nottingham Forest due to an apparent ankle injury.

Impact Mpanzu looks to possibly be heading for the sidelines for a brief period, as he appeared to have picked up an ankle injury after a brutal challenge on him occurred near the touchline, resulting in the player running into the electronic boards lining the field. He appeared to try to carry on with it but finally had to be taken off, hopefully, due to more cautionary reasoning and not because the injury had gotten worse. Luckily for the club, this shouldn't affect them much if he does miss time, as he usually serves in more of a rotational role, only earning eight starts all season. He was replaced by Andros Townsend.
