Lucas Hernandez - Tears ACL Hernandez has suffered a torn ACL during Wednesday's loss to Borussia Dortmund and is set to undergo surgery, ruling him out for the rest of 2024.
Impact This is very tough news for Hernandez, who will not only miss the rest of the season, but the rest of the year after tearing his ACL. This also rules him out of the Euros with France, having won the World Cup with the nation back in 2018. The defender will end the season making 33 starts in 38 appearances in both league play and European competitions, scoring twice with one assist while totaling 52 clearances, 67 tackles (46 won), 27 crosses (two accurate) while making five blocks while holding onto four clean sheets.

Impact Mbappe played only one half during Paris Saint-Germain's previous Ligue 1 game so that he could be fit but not overused going into the Dortmund matchup Wednesday. However, he was relatively quiet, with his three created chances and one shot on goal not helping PSG get on the scoresheet, the first time this has happened in the 2023-24 Champions League. Like in the UCL quarterfinal fixtures against Barcelona, PSG will need Mbappe to really step it up in the second leg, scheduled for Tuesday.

Impact Dembele attempted more crosses and shots than any of his Paris Saint-Germain teammates.
