Impact Messi didn't need much time in his return to make a mark and get his 2022 off finally. The maestro needed some time to fully recover from COVID-19 but the break should give him time to work on his fitness even more and he should be full go in February. He's had two goals and two assists over his past four appearances (three starts).

Marco Verratti - Stars with brace in 4-0 rout Verratti scored twice on two shots and added two chances created and two fouls drawn in Sunday's 4-0 win over Reims.

Impact When it rains, it pours. Verratti suddenly found his scoring shoes here and after finally getting his first goal of the season he even doubled his tally almost immediately. He mounted a total of three shots from his past two matches but after having none up until those two affairs it'll be hard to trust him he can sustain that run for long. He's also tallied seven chances created from his past three matches and is far more productive in that category.

Danilo Pereira - Scores in 4-0 romp Danilo scored on three shots (two on target) and added three interceptions and two fouls drawn in Sunday's 4-0 win over Reims.

Impact Danilo turned up his offensive fire a bit and had plenty of chances to get even more than his one goal. He's now mounted five shots over his past two outings alone after having a total of six all season long before that. That was his first goal since mid-October and second on the season but if he can sustain his number of shots it could shoot up his upside in most formats.

Impact Ramos finally made his mark for PSG with by far his most spectacular appearance. That was only his second start all season but he for the first time looked really healthy and may be entered in a regular rotation after the break if he can stay healthy for longer period.

Impact Navas was surprisingly given the nod here right away after his speedy return from COVID-19 but he was in top form right away holding his own for a critical clean sheet. That was his first clean sheet since October but at least he's mounted 16 saves with just three goals allowed from his past four starts alone.

Impact Mendes and the Parisians back line have now held back to back clean sheets and three in last five matches while allowing no more than one goal in nine straight matches. The full-back also tallied one assist in that stint and has been a serious fantasy weapon of late while also delivering great numbers in multiple peripheral categories on both sides of the ball.

The defender has also scored twice in his last three appearances and has suddenly found quite the fantasy production. He may see a drop in his playing time after the break though when some of the starters in the back line return from AFCON.
