Continues in rotational role Seiwald went unused off the bench in Friday's 5-1 win against Koln.

Impact Seiwald continues to serve in a rotational role, as he has gone unused in four of the club's past five matches, only getting one start in his five appearances. This follows suit to the rest of the season, as he has only appeared 17 times, notching nine starts in that time. His stats have not been too impressive either, only having one assist on four chances created to go along with 28 tackles, 11 clearances, 10 interceptions and two crosses.

Bags first assist of season Seiwald assisted once to go with zero corners and one chance created in Saturday's 5-2 defeat against VfB Stuttgart.

Impact Siewald finally registered his first assist in the Bundesliga since joining Leipzig this summer, finding Lois Openda in the 55th minute for the team's second and final goal of the loss. Siewald has started to find more time on the pitch recently after a slightly underwhelming start to the campaign, having featured in three of their last four matches, with his two most recent appearances both being starts. He will hope to keep getting more time moving forward, as he has only notched four chances created, eight interceptions and 22 tackles in 12 appearances this season.

Impact Seiwald has fallen even further down the pecking order before the November break. In the final seven matches he appeared just twice for a total of 35 minutes on the pitch. It's been a tough go for Seiwald since making the switch to Leipzig as the club has found it hard to properly integrate the talented midfielder.
