Impact Gonzalez had an extended bout with the virus since he had to isolate for 18 days. He will now undergo a routine physical and get back on the pitch. The break should allow him to have an adequate ramp-up without missing further matches.

Tests positive for COVID-19 Gonzalez has contracted Coronavirus, is asymptomatic and is isolating at home, Fiorentina announced.

Impact Gonzalez will have to sit out at least the next two matches considering the short turnaround. Riccardo Sottil, Riccardo Saponara and Jose Callejon will see an uptick of minutes on the offensive wings while Gonzalez is out. Saponara hit the net in the last game, but his minutes are generally capped.
