Bruno Guimaraes - Expected to return Saturday Guimaraes (thigh) is expected to be fully fit for Saturday's trip to Fulham, according to MailOnline.
Impact Guimaraes is expected to be fully fit Saturday, despite returning early from international duty with the thigh injury. MailOnline reports Guimaraes is expected to be in the starting XI, having cleared injury precautions on his return. Guimaraes has started every match he's been fully fit and available for though a hamstring injury sidelined him for three matches earlier in the campaign.

Callum Wilson - Expected to start Wilson (hamstring) is expected to be fully fit for Saturday's trip to Fulham, according to Craig Hope of MailOnline.
Impact Wilson was always anticipating a return after the international break and it appears he's right on target to start Saturday's trip to Fulham. With Alexander Isak (hamstring) ruled out, Wilson should start up top, before picking up the injury Wilson had two goals in the opening three matches of the Premier League campaign.

Allan Saint-Maximin - Remains unlikely after break Saint-Maximin (hamstring) remains unlikely to feature out of the break for Saturday's trip to Fulham, reports Luke Edwards of The Telegraph.
Impact Saint-Maximin suffered a setback just before the break and unfortunately two weeks may not be long enough for him to recover. It's a tough break for him after a nice start to the season, producing a goal and two assists in four starts. It's hard to see him starting the next two matches following the break, which could mean more time for Ryan Fraser.
SEPTEMBER 26, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Alexander Isak - Expected to miss multiple weeks Isak will reportedly miss multiple weeks with a lower leg injury suffered with the national team, reports Luke Edwards of The Telegraph.
Impact Newcastle can't seem to have nice things after another injury to one of their strikers. Fortunately, Callum Wilson should be ready to return following the break, though this also coincides with a rib injury for Chris Wood. Despite having three players to play central striker, Newcastle may have to change things up out of the international break, as it's hard to see Wilson being ready for a full 90. As for Isak, the report suggests he could be back in a couple weeks.

Bruno Guimaraes - Returns early from international duty Guimaraes has returned early from Brazil after picking up a thigh problem last week in training, reports The Chronicle.
Impact There isn't a ton of information on the issue for Guimaraes, but he definitely seems like a doubt for Saturday's trip to Fulham. He'll hope to recover in the next few days and be an option to start, but it may be best to take a cautious approach with him, leading to possibly another start for Sean Longstaff.

Chris Wood - Injures rib with New Zealand Wood suffered a potential rib injury playing for New Zealand over the international break, reports The Chronicle. According to Wood, "I went in for a collision and something popped...
Impact It's yet another potential injury for the Newcastle attack, which can't seem to stay healthy. Wood is no longer a starter for Newcastle, but he's featured off the bench in every match this season and provides much needed depth for the oft-injured Callum Wilson and newly-injury Alexander Isak.

Bruno Guimaraes - Picks up inflammation Guimaraes is dealing with a thigh inflammation, according to Chris Waugh of the Athletic.
Impact Guimaraes has picked up a minor muscular inflammation, he's hopeful to return for Brazil during the international break, making a return before a trip to Fulham very likely. Guimaraes has quickly become the top option in midfield in Newcastle.

Alexander Isak - Leaves Sweden camp Isak has left Sweden camp after picking up an injury, according to the national team. "It is of course sad mainly for Alex but also for us as a team. But after speaking with both...
Impact It's not a great sign for Isak, who had started his first three eligible matches for Newcastle, going a full 90 in the most recent contest against Bournemouth. While he has a little more than a week to recover, the Oct. 1 trip to Fulham could see Callum Wilson back in the starting XI in his first match back from injury.

Elliot Anderson: Newcastle United's teenage 'ballerina' Comparisons with Maradona and Gazza reflect Anderson's style rather than his status but Eddie Howe is to take a closer look this summer
SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 • THEATHLETIC.COM
Elliot Anderson - Signs long-term Newcastle deal Anderson has signed a long-term contract with Newcastle.
Impact Anderson has received tons of hype in the early season and he's looked well when on the pitch, including a Cup start a few weeks ago. While he's logged just 32 league minutes this season, that number figures to go up with the schedule about to get busier. The problem is that when everyone else is healthy, there's not a ton of room in the midfield unless Eddie Howe decides to completely rotate.
SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Chris Wood - Bench role this season Wood has featured in all seven of Newcastle's Premier League matches heading into the international break, but he's started just one time so far.
Impact Wood's lone league start thus far came against Wolverhampton on Aug. 28, and besides that he has only subbed in before the 85th minute on two occasions. He seems pointedly the third option at center forward behind Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak, though he could still get some minutes if either or both go down with an injury at some point.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Fabian Schar - Cracks four shots in draw Schar played four shots (one on target), made three clearances, one tackle and a cross as Newcastle shared the honors with Bournemouth in a 1-1 result on Saturday.
Impact Schar created a series of attacking moves for his team and demonstrated, through his contribution to both defensive plays and shots on goal, that he is a versatile center back. He is a player that should be providing more assists but he has been let down by the poor goal scoring execution of his receiving attackers. From six appearances (all starts) he has scored once and contributed to three clean sheets.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Alexander Isak - Scores penalty in draw Isak fired three shots (all on target) scoring from one of them (a penalty). He also made one tackle in Newcastle's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Impact Isak converted a well taken penalty following a Jefferson Lerma handball and was threatening in his forward role. He was denied more goals in this game only by some outstanding goalkeeping from Neto. The 70M signing last month from Real Sociedad looks like he has the ability and the support from key playmakers like Kieran Trippier, Ryan Fraser and Miguel Almiron to deliver goals this season. In his three appearances (all starts) he has scored two and has a good chance of growing that tally in Newcastle's next against Fulham who have conceded goals in their last five EPL matches.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Miguel Almiron - Strikes two shots in draw Almiron took two shots (one on target), delivered a cross and made two tackles in Newcastle's 1-1 outcome against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Impact Almiron was lively in his attacking midfield role on the right flank but failed to make a material impact on the game. The Paraguayan has not been effective this season, more would be expected from someone of his caliber. From seven appearances (all starts) he has only scored one goal and produced no assists. He was subbed after 89 for Chris Wood.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Kieran Trippier - Hits woodwork in draw Trippier fired one shot and made 16 crosses (five accurate) in Newcastle's 1-1 tie with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Impact Trippier was active as one of his team's main playmakers. He made a series of promising deliveries into dangerous areas that were not capitalized upon by his team mates, and he was always threatening with his set piece and corner kick deliveries. He was unlucky not to get on the score sheet when a free kick effort grazed one of the posts. The Newcastle captain's role orchestrating plays and set pieces promises more assists and goals from him this season. From seven appearances (all starts) he has scored once and produced three clean sheets.
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Nick Pope - Concedes one in draw Pope made two saves and conceded a goal in Newcastle's 1-1 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.
Impact Pope did not look lively in this game and was caught out of position a few times when the ball entered his penalty area. From the three shots on target he faced he conceded a goal. He has now only delivered one clean sheet in his last five games and next up for Newcastle is Fulham who have scored in their last five EPL matches. From seven appearances (all starts) he has conceded seven and delivered three clean sheets.

Elliot Anderson - Dealing with knock Anderson was unable to play against Bournemouth on Saturday but is expected to be available versus Fulham on Oct. 1. Manager Eddie Howe told reporters, "Very minor niggle, he'll be...
Impact Anderson has featured exclusively off the bench this season, including being an unused substitute in the first three matches of the campaign. As such, fantasy players probably shouldn't be expecting him to suddenly crack the starting XI versus Fulham.

Callum Wilson - Should return after break Wilson (hamstring) is expected to be available following the international break against Fulham on Saturday. Manager Eddie Howe told reporters, "Callum's doing very well. We're rea...
Impact Wilson has missed the club's last four matches due to his hamstring problem but seems to be trending in the right direction. Prior to his absence, the forward had featured in three straight contests in which he has tallied two goals on eight shots (four on target) and should reclaim a spot in the starting XI. As a result, Ryan Fraser could find himself relegated to a spot on the bench despite having started each of the last three contests.

Allan Saint-Maximin - Might not be back right after break Saint-Maximin had a "minor setback" during his recovery from a hamstring injury, and it's unclear whether he will be available for the Fulham game, coach Eddie Howe announced.
Impact Saint-Maximin missed the past three matches with a muscular problem and will try to shake it off during the break, but the setback could further delay his return. Ryan Fraser and Jacob Murphy have seen an uptick of minutes with Saint-Maximin shelved.
