Dagur Dan Thorhallsson - Dealt to Montreal Thorhallsson has been traded to Montreal from Orlando, according to his new club.
Impact Thorhallsson has ended his time in Orlando after three seasons with the club, as he will remain in MLS play but will instead join Montreal. The defender joins coming off a season in a rotational role, starting in 11 of his 36 appearances last campaign. However, joining a team that struggled last season in Montreal, the defender could return to a starting role, as he did start in 34 of his 36 appearances in the 2024 campaign.

Jahkeele Marshall-Rutty - Returning to Montreal Marshall-Rutty is returning to Montreal at the end of his loan, Charlotte announced.
Impact Marshall-Rutty had a decent season on loan with Charlotte, assisting twice and making a career-high 24 appearances. The loan wasn't made permanent in the end, so now Marshall-Rutty will be back with Montreal. It's unclear if Montreal has a plan to play him in 2026, or if he will look for a new club.

Matias Coccaro - Leaving Atlas after Apertura Coccaro is no longer part of Atlas' roster following the end of his loan spell, returning to his parent club CF Montreal.
Impact Coccaro saw his recent stint in Liga MX marked by a poor overall performance and disciplinary struggles. Considering both league and Leagues Cup play, he finished with three goals and one assist across 28 appearances (two starts). However, he was relegated to a substitute role behind Uros Djurdjevic. The Uruguayan should offer striker depth if he stays in Montreal next season.
NOVEMBER 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Prince-Osei Owusu - Top scorer for Montreal Owusu scored 13 goals and added three assists in 34 appearances (32 starts) for Montreal in 2025.
Impact Owusu had a breakout season with Toronto FC in 2024 with nine goals across 31 appearances, but he was even better in 2025 -- it was the first time he scored in double digits in his career. Owusu should continue to operate as Montreal's main offensive weapon in 2026 unless he chooses to leave the club in the January transfer window if Montreal receives a suitable offer.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Dante Sealy - Makes 28 starts for Montreal Sealy started in 28 of his 30 appearances for Montreal in the 2025 season, scoring nine goals.
Impact Sealy was one of the most reliable final-third threats for Montreal in the 2025 season, finishing with nine goals, 58 shots (22 on target) and 37 chances created while starting in all but two of his regular-season appearances. Sealy played mostly as a winger on the right side, but he also showed the ability to play on the left flank in some occasions.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Hennadii Synchuk - Finishes season as starter Synchuk started in 10 of his 14 appearances with Montreal in the 2025 MLS season, recording one goal.
Impact Synchuk was limited to two appearances (one start) until the end of June, but he saw regular minutes in the second half of the campaign. From the beginning of July through the end of the campaign, Synchuk started in nine of his 12 appearances, missing only two games due to his participation in the U20 World Cup. Synchuk showed he's a young player with tons of potential when given the chance, and he should continue to see steady minutes for Montreal in 2026. Synchuk netted his lone goal of the campaign in a 3-2 win over Austin on Aug. 23.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Victor Loturi - Limited impact as regular starter Loturi started in 27 of his 34 regular-season appearances in the 2025 MLS season, tallying two goals.
Impact Loturi scored his two goals of the season against Inter Miami (May 28) and New York City FC (June 28). He alternated in and out of the XI in the first few months of the campaign, but he ended the campaign as a regular -- he started each of Montreal's last 19 regular-season games as a holding midfielder. Loturi is under contract for the 2026 season and should hold a steady role in midfield once again next year.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Dawid Bugaj - Regular when available Bugaj (lower body) started in 19 of his 23 appearances during the 2025 MLS regular season.
Impact Bugaj ended the season sidelined in the final two games of the campaign, and while he alternated at times, he was a starter during the majority of the campaign. Bugaj had two assists and 11 chances created from his RB role, while on defense he added 51 clearances, 36 tackles and 21 interceptions.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Luca Petrasso - Regular starter on defense Petrasso logged 31 starts and 34 appearances for Montreal during the 2025 season, tallying two goals, four assists, 22 chances created, 74 crosses, 39 tackles and 65 clearances.
Impact Petrasso delivered value on both sides of the ball, but he made most of his fantasy upside on defense. Even though he played a few games as a center-back, Petrasso spent most of the season as the team's primary option at left-back or left wing-back. Petrasso is under contract in 2026 and should remain in that same role again.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Thomas Gillier - Makes eight starts as loanee Gillier allowed 12 goals and made 27 saves in eight starts with Montreal during the 2025 MLS season.
Impact Gillier is on loan from Bologna, and while the initial loan was set to conclude at the end of the 2025 season, Montreal are set to extend the loan until the end of the 2026 campaign. After starting in eight of the team's last nine games, Gillier could have the inside track to be Montreal's No.1 goalkeeper in 2026.
NOVEMBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Sebastian Breza - Signs extension through 2027 Breza signed a contract extension with Montreal through 2027, the club announced.
Impact Breza made just three appearances during his fourth season in MLS, but he was enough of a contributor behind the scenes to earn a two-year extension. He will now be back with Montreal through 2027. Even with the extension he's likely to remain a depth option for the most part moving forward.

Giacomo Vrioni - Makes one tackle in finale Vrioni recorded one tackle (one won) in Saturday's 3-0 loss versus FC Cincinnati.
Impact Vrioni was able to get one more appearance in before the end of the season after missing the last three months with a lower body injury. Injuries hounded the forward in 2025, appearing only nine times in MLS play, starting six times while scoring three goals to close out the year.
OCTOBER 20, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Thomas Gillier - Four saves but concedes three Gillier registered four saves and allowed three goals in Saturday's 3-0 loss to FC Cincinnati.
Impact Gillier ended his first MLS season having played eight games in the final nine games of the season. This was the first game that he has conceded three goals in and made four or more saves for the sixth time in these eight matches.
OCTOBER 20, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Efrain Morales - Season over Morales (lower body) isn't an option for Saturday's trip to Cincinnati, per the MLS injury report.
Impact Morales won't play during the season finale. Montreal's season was already over, so the defender wasn't risked in the finale. He made just six appearances this season after joining Montreal, though that was a significant uptick from the minor role he played for Atlanta. Morales could earn even more minutes with Montreal next season with a full pre-season ahead of him.
OCTOBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Dawid Bugaj - Out Saturday Bugaj (lower body) is out for Saturday's trip to Cincinnati, per the MLS injury report.
Impact Bugaj isn't an option Saturday due to a lower body injury that kept him out of team training throughout the week. With Montreal out of the race for the playoffs this spells the end of the season for Bugaj. He finishes with 23 appearances (19 starts) and two assists, holding on as the starting right-back throughout the season while he stayed fit.
