Impact Paintsil was one of his team's few players who presented some threat up front but it was far from enough to avoid a lopsided loss for a struggling LA Galaxy side. The attacker had a slow start of campaign, but is having some nice performances as of late, with two goals, three assists and some decent peripheral numbers over the last 10 appearances.

Troy Elgersma - Scores first senior goal Elgersma scored a goal off two shots after coming off the bench during Wednesday's 3-1 loss against St. Louis City.

Impact Elgersma made his second career MLS appearance, being brought as part of a double substitution in the 73rd minute. And the youngster made most of the chance despite playing for a team down 0-3 and with just 10 men. In the 86th minute, he appeared at the right place to fire a left-footed one-timer past the goalkeeper and score the consolation goal for the Galaxy. This was the first goal as a professional for the midfielder, who will hope to get more playing time to keep showcasing his skills during upcoming games.

JT Marcinkowski - Allows three in loss Marcinkowski made six saves and conceded three goals during Wednesday's 3-1 loss against St. Louis City.

Impact Marcinkowski returned to the net after being benched in the previous match and definitely didn't get a lot of help from the defensive line, but still could've done a much better job on the opposition's second goal as he got caught by surprise in what appeared to be a routine save. With just one clean sheet and five games with multiple goals allowed to his account after 12 starts this season, Marcinkowski doesn't profile as a very appealing goalkeeper for fantasy teams right now.

Roman Burki - Allows one in return Burki (fitness level) made two saves and conceded one goal during Wednesday's 3-1 win over LA Galaxy.

Impact Burki returned to the team after missing the previous game and had a mostly calm outing. It looked like he was on his way to keeping his second clean sheet of the year but then he saw Troy Elgersma appearing unmarked in front of him to ruin his plans in the 86th minute. Despite the setback close to the final whistle, the veteran goalkeeper still has reasons to celebrate as he didn't allow multiple goals for a season-best fourth consecutive game.

Simon Becher - Scores in win Becher scored a goal off five shots (four on target) and created one chance during Wednesday's 3-1 win over LA Galaxy.

Impact Becher was one of his team's most dangerous players here, pacing them in shots attempted, which included the classy chip-in over the goalkeeper that extended his side's lead to 3-0 midway through the second frame. This was just the second goal of the season for the forward, but he's starting to get some momentum as was already coming off making three assists over the previous seven appearances.

Tomas Totland - Delivers first season assist Totland made an assist, created two chances and made three tackles, two clearances and three interceptions during Wednesday's 3-1 win over LA Galaxy.

Impact Totland had a nice performances on both sides of the ball, assisting Marcel Hartel for his side's second goal while also providing contributions when they didn't have the ball. This was the first goal he set up in this campaign and the full-back turned midfielder is beginning to cement his place in the starting XI, having started in seven of the last eight matches.

Impact Hartel had a man-of-the-match performance here as he scored his team's second goal with a long-range finish just before halftime and assisted the other two for what was arguably his best performance of the season. That's now five goals and three assists over 14 starts for the playmaker, who can't stop improving since joining the team in 2024.
