GAME LOG

Two shots on Friday Skriniar recorded two shots (zero on goal) and one chance created in Friday's 3-0 victory against Toulouse.
Impact Skriniar made nine clearances, most by any player in the match. It was the first occasion this season where a PSG player made more than eight clearances in a single league fixture. Other than that, Skriniar also blocked a shot.
NOVEMBER 25, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Hampered by injury Skirinar made 24 appearances (17 starts) during his first season with PSG.
Impact Skriniar opened his first season in PSG as a nearly guaranteed piece of the starting XI. Injuries later in the season limited his overall minute totals but he finished with a respectable total and seemed to have earned a top role. Skriniar should remain one of the top options in 2024/25.
MAY 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Option again Skriniar (ankle) will be an option off the bench for Sunday's match versus Marseille.
Impact Skriniar is back after missing the last two and a half months with an ankle injury. He is only expected to be an option off the bench until he is back to full form, having started 13 of the 16 games played for the side.
MARCH 31, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Training individually Skriniar (ankle) trained individually Tuesday, the club reported.
Impact Skriniar is moving on to the next portion of his recovery process, as he was able to get some work in individually on the field Tuesday. However, the defender still most likely won't be ready for Sunday's match against Montpellier, as the club will probably hold him out until after the international break to preserve the player after his long absence. At that point, he should be expected to return, hopefully making the team sheet to face Marseille on March 31.
MARCH 12, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Still not ready for return Skriniar (ankle) continues his rehabilitation but is still not ready for a return, as he has been left out for Tuesday's match against Real Sociedad.
Impact Skriniar's absence will mean PSG have to go without one of their top defenders moving into the second leg of their UCL clash against Real Sociedad, as he has now been ruled out for a ninth consecutive match. The defender is still working on his rehabilitation, having yet to get the bump up to team training. With that being said, the club will hope for an advancement this week, looking for a return on Sunday against Reims or on March 17 against Montpellier.
MARCH 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Out to face Monaco Skriniar (ankle) is out for Friday's match against Monaco.
Impact Skriniar remains sidelined for a further match, now missing his eighth straight match due to ankle issues. This was slightly to be expected, as the defender just started his rehabilitation process this week, having yet to train with the team, meaning he will most likely miss another match or two after this. However, the club will hope for him back as soon as possible, as when healthy, he is a regular starter, getting the start in 19 of the 23 matches he has been available for this season.
MARCH 1, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Starts rehabilitation process Skriniar (ankle) has started his recovery process, according to the club, and is most likely doubtful for Friday's match against Monaco.
Impact Skriniar looks set to serve another match from the sidelines, having yet to get back into training with the team following his ankle issues. Although we haven't received any news from the team on whether he will play or not, it is safe to assume that he is still not ready and will most likely remain in that spot for another week. With that being said, if he doesn't play Friday, expect him to also miss out on Tuesday's match against Real Sociedad and probably sit out against Reims on March 10 as well.
FEBRUARY 29, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Yet to resume training Skriniar (ankle) is still not training with the squad in the lead-up to Saturday's matchup with Lille.
Impact Considering Skriniar is still listed as "continuing recovery", he probably shouldn't be expected to get back onto the pitch in the short term. As such, the central defender, who has already missed three matches, figures to remain out indefinitely for the time being.
FEBRUARY 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Unavailable Friday Skriniar (ankle) is out for Friday's clash with Strasbourg, PSG announced.
Impact Skriniar remains on the sideline for Friday's match due to an ankle issue. The defender is back in rehab and is working individually on recovering, but wasn't quite ready. Marquinhos and Lucas Hernandez both could fill the starting XI for Friday's clash. Skriniar's next chance to return is a Feb. 10 clash with Lille.
FEBRUARY 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Doubtful despite starting rehab Skriniar (ankle) has been upgraded to start rehabilitation ahead of Friday's contest against Strasbourg, the club reported Thursday.
Impact Skriniar looks to be making decent progress in his return to play, as he has started his rehabilitation after going down injured against Toulouse on Jan. 3 in the Trophee des Champions. With one day until the next match, there is reasonable doubt the defender won't be ready to play yet. However, the club will still hope for a return, and if not Friday, he should be back to face Lille on Feb. 10.

Picks up ankle issue Skriniar picked up an ankle injury in the Jan. 3 contest against Toulouse in the Trophee des Champions but has recently started to work on his rehabilitation, the club announced Fr...
Impact Skriniar had felt some discomfort in his ankle during a match against Toulouse on Jan. 3, requiring the player to leave the field. Still, he seems to be on the right track for a speedy return, already starting his rehabilitation work on Friday. With another week until the club's next match in league play, it is still uncertain if the defender will be healthy by then, but based on the recent developments, there is still a chance he is an option. The club hopes to have the player back as quickly as possible, as he has started in all but three contests he has been available for this season. He has already been announced to be returning this season and will hope that he is only a week away from that return, with their next match being on Jan. 28 against Brest.
JANUARY 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Nets goal Skriniar scored one goal to go with two shots (one on target) and one chance created in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to AC Milan. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 80th minute.
Impact Skriniar scored his first goal of the season in UCL play and his first since the 2021/22 campaign. He's started all 14 matches played thus far, recording 24 clearances and nine blocks in that span, holding on to six clean sheets.
NOVEMBER 8, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Ironman before break Skriniar has played every minute of every match before the international break.
Impact Skriniar has yet to miss a minute, starting and going the full 90 during every match before the break. The center-back is a crucial part of the first XI and totally irreplaceable in the backline. Skriniar has a guaranteed role in the starting XI whenever fully fit and available.
OCTOBER 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Starts first four matches Skriniar has started all four matches to open the Ligue 1 campaign, recording nine clearances, six tackles (four won) and two shots (one on target).
Impact Skriniar joined the French club during the offseason, making the move from Inter Milan after five seasons with the Italian side. At this point, there is not reason to expect the central defender to be dropped from the starting XI even with the Champions League Group Stage adding to the fixture schedule.

Completes PSG move Skriniar has officially agreed to a contract until 2028 with PSG after departing Inter as a free agent.
Impact Skriniar was hampered by a back problem in the past campaign, but he addressed it with surgery and was available, albeit unused, in the final matches of the season. A full summer should allow him to return to his usual elite levels and have a pivotal role in his new team's defense. He posted 38 tackles, 17 interceptions, 60 clearances, and 22 blocks in 29 appearances last season, contributing to 11 clean sheets.
JULY 6, 2023 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Skriniar was technically available but wasn't fit enough to play. A nerve problem in his back derailed his season from February on. He starred 29 times before getting hurt, tallying 38 tackles, 17 interceptions, 86 clearances, and 21 blocks and contributing to 11 clean sheets. He's mostly likely headed to PSG on a Bosman move.

DNP in Torino tilt Skriniar (back) didn't get minutes in Saturday's 2-0 win over Torino.
Impact Skriniar worked his way back after surgery, but the game was tight until the end, and he didn't sub in. Given the situation, it's unlikely he'll play in the Champions League final either.
JUNE 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Starting on bench Skriniar is on the bench for Saturday's match against Torino.
Impact Skriniar is back with the team after missing the last two months with a back injury. He's been battling injuries for a majority of the second half of the season, recording three starts in the last four games played.
JUNE 3, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Could return versus Torino Skriniar (back) has resumed training fully and could log some minutes against Torino Saturday, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
Impact Skriniar has been out since late April after getting surgery to address a nerve problem in his back. He's unlikely to get a ton of playing time in the two final games considering the extended absence, but he has shaken off the injury and will be healthy heading into the summer. He has logged 38 tackles, 17 clearances, 66 clearances, and 27 blocks in his 29 appearances (26 starts), contributing to 11 clean sheets. Matteo Darmian and Danilo D'Ambrosio replaced him while he was out.

Return up in the air Skriniar (back) continues to be in pain, and it's uncertain when he will be back, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

Will miss Benfica match Skriniar (back) will remain sidelined for Tuesday's game versus Benfica, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.
Impact Skriniar underwent some evaluations late last week and logged a pair of limited practices afterward. He won't make the trip to Portugal and Inter will likely keep leaning on Matteo Darmian at his position, with Denzel Dumfries on the right wing and Danilo D'Ambrosio as the top backup.
APRIL 10, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
