His early shot in the game was one of Brentford's best scoring chances. The Danish midfielder has just joined Brentford in August from Sampdoria but he looks like a player that will establish himself to be an active fantasy scorer in defensive moves, assists and goals. Transfers to Brentford Damsgaard has signed a five-year contract with Brentford after transferring from Sampdoria, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Damsgaard's production trailed off a bit last season, but he tallied two goals and four assists across 35 Serie A appearances (18 starts) as a 20-year-old in his first campaign with Sampdoria, which also lead into a solid showing for Denmark at Euro 2020. Now 22, he is joining Brentford as a quasi-replacement for his compatriot Christian Eriksen, and he can play in attacking midfield or on the left wing.
