Impact Mittelstadt made his season debut after missing last week's opener and replaced captain Marvin Plattenhardt at left-back. And he more than fulfilled the expectations at both ends of the pitch, pacing his side in crosses, tackles and interceptions. If Plattenhardt can't recover for Friday's visit to Borussia Monchengladbach, Mittelstadt will have one more chance to prove he deserves regular first-team minutes moving forward.
