Solid defensively Longstaff recorded four tackles (three won) and two clearances in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Chicago Fire.

Impact Longstaff didn't see much action in the attack Saturday but still held strong in the defense, notching two clearances and four tackles in the draw. He has now started in 24 of his 30 appearances while notching four goal contributions, as more of his work comes in the defensive portion of the midfield.

Impact Longstaff was only back with the team from his loan stay due to his knee injury in the first place, so his continued absence wasn't going to affect fantasy players. Given a 6-9 month recovery timeline, the midfielder could be in danger of missing the start of the 2023-24 campaign as well.
