Impact Kowalski had been spotted in training late last season but wasn't rushed back. The new coach hasn't been using him during the friendlies, as he could leave, either on loan or permanently, before the transfer window closes.

Impact Kowalski got hurt just after a promising Serie A debut and will have to spend several months on the shelf. He got the nod versus Napoli because Parma were short-handed in the midfield without Hernani (calf) and Naheul Estevez (thigh), who shouldn't be out for long. The team also signed Mandela Keita late in the window.
