FIrst goal of season Holgate scored a goalw hile taking three shots (one on goal) and making three tackles (winning all three) during Sunday's 2-1 loss to West Ham.

Impact Holgate found the back of the net in the 53rd minute, scoring Everton's lone goal of the match. The goal was the first of the season for the defensive minded player, while his three tackles led Everton in the loss.

Impact With Holgate available, he should at least be in contention to challenge Michael Keane or Ben Godfrey for a spot in the starting XI, at least until Yerry Mina (hamstring) is deemed fit.
