Starting Sunday
Engel (undisclosed) is in the initial lineup for Sunday's match against Inter Miami.
Impact
Engel wasn't forced to miss any game despite leaving the previous contest due to a physical problem. He'll likely feature at left wing-back while Luca Orellano and Yuya Kubo offer bench options. If he's fit enough for significant playing time, Engel could produce some crosses and defensive stats.

Subs off versus Columbus
Engel was forced to leave the field with an injury in the 63rd minute of Saturday's match against Columbus Crew.
Impact
Engel suffered an apparent muscle discomfort that put an end to his participation after a defensive performance on the left flank. This issue could prevent him from playing in upcoming rounds, although its severity is still unknown. Luca Orellano took his place Saturday and could be a viable option to fill in the lineup if required.

On bench for second playoffs game
Engel (leg) is on the bench for Sunday's visit to Columbus Crew.
Impact
Engel could be considered for limited action following a two-week recovery from a fitness problem. In that case, he'll try to increase his season totals of 110 clearances, 54 tackles, 31 chances created and four assists across 33 MLS appearances. He has been deployed in central and left-sided spots, so both Teenage Hadebe and Yuya Kubo may see their involvement reduced in upcoming rounds.

Joins training
Engel (leg) was involved in the start of team training Thursday, according to Laurel Pfahler of the Queen City Press.
Impact
Engel was a late call for the club's last contest and is continuing to improve his progress, as the defender has joined training to an extent, with the team for warmups. This could allow the defender to return from his two-game absence. However, he will likely still need to pass some testing to be an option, facing Columbus on Sunday.

Aggressiveness pays off
Engel assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Wednesday's 3-1 victory against CF Montreal.
