Questionable with hamstring problem
Martins is questionable for Saturday's match against Seattle due to a hamstring injury, according to the club's injury report.
Impact
Martins is heading right back to the injury list after going unused on the bench in the club's last match following his recovery from a calf issue. He has only started in one of the five games he has been available for this season, so if he misses time, his absence will only be a minor loss for the club. However, they would still like to have the depth available, hoping for the midfielder to pass his fitness test ahead of the contest after dealing with two injuries in the first eight games of the season.

This isn't the biggest loss for the club, but it will still cause some shifting on the bench, as he has appeared in all four matches this season, only earning the start once. He will now look ahead to next Saturday's match against Toronto, hoping to be fit by then and avoid any setbacks.

Martins had a firm hold on the starting job to start 2023 but that role quickly dwindled due to a severe injury. When he was fit once more new signing Sam Adekugbe appeared to be the preferred option at left-back as well. It's unclear who will take over the starting job in 2024.
