Impact Danjuma found the back of the net with a shot from inside the box following several rebounds. The speedy winger is a solid option off the bench for Girona, but he won't carry a lot of upside if he continues to have a secondary role while starting occasionally. Danjuma has started in eight of his 13 appearances, and this was his first goal of the campaign.

Impact Hein didn't have his best performance in this match, and he could've done a lot more in at least two of the goals he conceded. This wasn't the outing the goalkeeper would've expected to have, and he heads into the Christmas break having allowed two or more goals in four of his last five starts.

Impact Ruiz scored Girona's second goal of the match with a perfect header from close range, though, to be fair, he had some help from Karl Jakob Hein, who could've done a better job between the posts in that sequence. This was Ruiz's third goal of the season.

Meanwhile, his second assist was a perfect cross from the left flank that was nodded home by Abel Ruiz Ortega. Gutierrez has one goal, four assists, 97 crosses and 28 chances created in LaLiga this season, so he has plenty of attacking value even if he plays as a defender.
