Impact This was an excellent showing for the veteran keeper, as clean sheet victories over a dangerous Betis squad are not easy to come by. Granted, the opposition played most of this one down to 10 men, but they still were able to generate a few decent scoring opportunities to contend with. Marchesin made a number of nice stops early in this contest that set the tone for the rest of the match and was a huge contributor to his team's three-point outcome. It doesn't get any easier Sunday at Barcelona, though.

Impact Pezzella subbed into this contest after just 20 minutes when Luiz Felipe was sent off with a straight red card. He took William Carvalho's place in the lineup to bolster an otherwise shorthanded defensive rotation and did well to keep the score at 1-0 throughout. It is likely he remains in the Betis lineup for the squad's next league match at Valladolid while Felipe serves his suspension.

Impact Silva was beaten by an excellent strike very early in this one but was able to save everything else that he faced. Silva is always a rather reliable fantasy option, and he'll hope for better goal support next time out at Valladolid Sunday.

Impact Aspas subbed into this contest during the 75th minute with his squad leading 1-0. It was somewhat unclear why he was omitted from the initial starting XI - perhaps due to fatigue from international play - but he replaced Carles Perez to help close this one out.
