Impact Walker had missed much of the final month of the season with an ankle injury, and he wasn't going to play on Sunday unless absolutely necessary. The 31-year-old ended the campaign with two assists and 10 clean sheets in 20 Premier League games, and he also scored a goal and started in seven Champions League matches. The emergence of Joao Cancelo as a versatile and incredible option on either side of the field took some of the pressure off of Walker at right back, but his recovery speed in defense still remains vital for City in the biggest games.
