GAME LOG

Starts against RSL Rowles (not injury related) is part of his side's starting lineup for Saturday's visit to Real Salt Lake.
Impact Rowles spent some time with the Australian national team, but he didn't play and returned to his club in time for the MLS week 19 matchup. With Rowles added to a three-man defense alongside Lucas Bartlett and Garrison Tubbs, the team will hope to shake off a seven-goal defeat they suffered to Chicago Fire, but they may still be vulnerable at the back.

Called up with Australia Rowles has been called up by Australia for the World Cup Qualification Asia games against Japan and Saudi Arabia on June 5 and June 10, respectively.
Impact Rowles has been an undisputed starter in the backline for D.C. United this season. Due to the call-up, he will miss the match against Chicago on Saturday but should return in time to face Salt Lake on June 14. Garrison Tubbs, if deemed fit enough, is expected to start in the back-three on Saturday.

MAY 4, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Set for suspension Rowles generated 11 clearances and two interceptions in Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Philadelphia Union. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 4th minute.
Impact Rowles had a solid match Saturday despite the scoreline, recording 11 clearances with two interceptions against the Union. However, he is set for a one match suspension following five yellow cards on the season. This will likely give Matti Peltola a chance to start at center back, alongside Lukas MacNaughton.
APRIL 27, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Not on injury report Rowles (international duty) is back with his club and is an option moving forward.
Impact Rowles is back with the club after his time with Australia, set to be an option in their upcoming games. He is a regular starter and should return to that spot almost immediately after starting in his first four appearances of the season.
MARCH 28, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Called up with Australia Rowles has been called up by Australia for the matches against Indonesia and China for the World Cup qualifications on March 20 and March 25, respectively.
Impact Rowles has started all four league games this season for D.C. United helping his team secure one clean sheet but will miss Saturday's match against Orlando due to a call-up. He should return in time to face Columbus on March 29. His absence will force a change in the starting XI with Lukas MacNaughton likely starting in the central defense for that game.

Signs with D.C. Rowles has completed a transfer to D.C. United from Heart of Midlothian FC, according to his new club.
Impact Rowles is heading to MLS after starting his career in Australia, with the defender set to join D.C. United on a two-year contract, holding an option for the 2027 season. The defender does hold some decent experience, as he did serve in the 2022 World Cup with Australia, starting and playing the full 90 in all four of his appearances. That said, he is likely to compete for starting time immediately, possibly carving out a solid role with his new club in the nation's capital.
