GAME LOG

Returns to Serie A Bowie is headed to Sassuolo on loan with a conditional obligation to buy from Verona.
Impact Bowie played well for a struggling team in the second half of last season, bagging four goals and tallying 33 shots (11 on target), 13 chances created and six crosses (zero accurate) in 14 starts. He'll compete and rotate with Andrea Pinamonti at his new team and would take over the position if the teammate left.
JULY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Can't score in finale Bowie recorded four shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 2-0 loss versus Roma.
Impact Bowie was a good spark for Verona when he joined the club in January, scoring four goals in 13 starts. Based on this production, he could have a lot of success in Serie B as Verona try to come back up after being relegated from Serie A this season.
MAY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Scores goal in draw Bowie scored one goal to go with three shots (one on goal) and two chances created in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Inter Milan.
Impact Bowie leveled the scoring through a left-footed strike from the edge of the box in stoppage time of Sunday's game. He also generated more than two shots for the third match in a row while finding the back of the net for the second time over that period. Four months have been enough for the winter signing to become the club's second-leading scorer with four goals. Thus, he could take advantage of the momentum if he continues to feature as a center-forward.
MAY 18 • ROTOWIRE
Leads team in shots against Como Bowie had three shots (zero on goal) and one takcle (one won) and drew three fouls in Sunday's 1-0 loss against Como.
Impact Bowie was once again the main threat for his side but didn't manage to replicate last week's goal despite a pair of juicy attempts. He has scored twice in his last four outings (all stats), registering 10 shots (four on target), three chances created and three tackles (two won) during that stretch.
MAY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Scores opener Bowie scored one goal to go with four shots (two on goal) in Sunday's 1-1 draw versus Juventus.
Impact Bowie gave Hellas Verona a shock lead in Sunday's 1-1 draw at the Allianz Stadium, deflecting Domagoj Bradaric's powerful cross into the net in the first half after Gleison Bremer's error allowed the ball to reach the left side, with Michele Di Gregorio failing to cover his near post. The forward also contributed defensively with two tackles and one block during the match. Bowie has now scored three Serie A goals this season across 11 appearances, making him one of the more productive forwards on an already-relegated Verona side in a difficult campaign.
MAY 3 • ROTOWIRE
Mostly stifled by Lecce Bowie (undisclosed) had two chances created and drew two fouls in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Lecce.
Impact Bowie went to distance despite missing one match because of a muscular problem, but wasn't very productive, failing to take a shot for the first time in eight appearances. Instead, he has created at least one chance in four consecutive showings, racking up 10 and adding nine attempts (four on target) and two crosses (zero accurate) over that span.
APRIL 28 • ROTOWIRE
Makes starting XI Bowie (undisclosed) is in the starting XI for Saturday's clash against Lecce.
Impact Bowie made his return to the starting lineup after skipping the previous game due to a mild muscular problem, with the coaching staff showing enough confidence in his recovery to hand him an immediate recall rather than opting to manage his minutes. Amin Sarr and Ioan Vermesan, who had been the available options in the role during his absence, revert to backup positions as a result.
APRIL 25 • ROTOWIRE
Probable for Lecce fixture Bowie (undisclosed) "was able to practice fully a couple of times this week, so he's returning," coach Paolo Sammarco communicated.
Impact Bowie will be back after skipping the previous game due to a mild muscular problem, but it remains to be seen whether he'll start right away or if he'll be managed. Amin Sarr (illness) and Ioan Vermesan are the options in the role, as Gift Orban (team-mandated suspension) and Daniel Mosquera (knee) are out. Bowie has fired multiple shots in his last seven displays, scoring twice, totaling 19 attempts (two on target) and adding eight chances created, six crosses (zero accurate) and five tackles (one won) over that span.
APRIL 24 • ROTOWIRE
Out to face Milan Bowie (undisclosed) is out for Sunday's match against AC Milan.
Impact Bowie has not recovered from his "ailment" and will sit out Sunday's tilt, as the injury is too much to play through. The forward has started in almost every game since joining the club, only missing out on his first contest, so this is a rough loss. They will hope he only misses one match and can return to his starting role up top alongside Gift Orban, with Verona switching to only one forward due to his absence.
APRIL 19 • ROTOWIRE
Faces fitness test Bowie "is nursing an ailment, and we'll see how he feels Sunday," coach Paolo Sammarco announced.
Impact Bowie picked up a muscular injury in training and will be assessed on game day to determine whether he'll be available and eventually fit enough to extend his streak of starts. Gift Orban is likely to return to the XI after coming off the bench last week. Abdou Harroui or Amin Sarr would replace Bowie if needed.
APRIL 18 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in Saturday's loss Bowie scored one goal to go with three shots (two on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Torino.
Impact Bowie scored his second goal of the season Saturday, an outside-the-box strike in the 38th minute which tied the match at 1-1. It was one of three shots he took in the match and he also created one chance on the attack. He played the full 90 minutes in his second match in a row.
APRIL 12 • ROTOWIRE
Fairly lively in Atalanta match Bowie registered two shots (one on goal), one tackle (zero won) and three chances created in Sunday's 1-0 loss versus Atalanta.
Impact Bowie went toe-to-toe with the opposing defenders throughout the game and often came up victorious, setting a new season high in key passes, but his teammates didn't exploit his feeds. He had logged just one in the previous six games combined. He has fired multiple shots in five fixtures on the trot, racking up 12 attempts (three on target) and scoring once. Instead, his three-match streak with at least one cross came to an end.
MARCH 22 • ROTOWIRE
First Serie A goal Bowie scored one goal to go with four shots (one on goal) and two crosses (zero accurate) in Sunday's 2-1 victory against Bologna. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 16...
Impact Bowie converted his chance from the center of the box Sunday to score his first Serie A goal and give Verona a 2-1 lead which they would not relinquish. The young forward's four shot attempts marked his most in a single appearance this season. Bowie has made five consecutive appearances (five starts) since completing a January transfer from Scottish side Hibernian.

Heads to Verona Bowie has agreed to a contract until 2030 upon joining Verona from Hibernian.
Impact Bowie has been acquired shortly after the departure of Giovane and will tussle for minutes with Amin Sarr, Daniel Mosquera and Isaac. He's arguably the most established of the foursome and was having a solid season in Scotland, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 22 Premiership matches.
