Impact Parks underwent surgery to remove a blood clot in his leg in July, the second time he's had to undergo this procedure in the last 13 months. The 25-year-old will just hope to be fully healthy and available in 2023, where he will want to continue pushing for a starting spot in a very deep defensive midfield position for NYCFC.

Impact Parks has made 14 MLS appearances (11 starts) this season, but as of now there isn't a clear time table on his recovery from this surgery. He underwent a similar operation back in November of 2021. Alfredo Morales and Nicolas Acevedo will be the first-choice defensive midfielders in his absence, with Maximiliano Moralez and Gedion Zelalem able to chip in when necessary.
